Do you have a tune? If so which one. I have catless primary's and muffler delete but no pops... was just curious on ur setup. Also do you have resonators? Or true straight from downpipe back
How is it inside the car? Does it drone a lot on idle? And when u floor it does it sound too loud inside the car or just right? Is this c63 amg loud in person?
+HarmanGill64 no drone at idle, full throttle is fine. Around 2200 revs it drones bad. If you want to avoid drone just do the muffler delete and leave the rest there.
I agree with iTheGeek, You lose low end torque doing this. However a remap might be the thing needed to recover any lost power or make more. The ECU thinks the exhaust has a hole in it basically when you do exhaust mods without a remap. Hence why power is initially lost.
That difference, if any, is negligible in forced induction vehicles. Perhaps you'll notice a slight difference in Naturally Aspirated cars, but for the vehicle depicted here, that's not the case.
Amazing!

SpiffyDay I wonder what tune it has also
nice sound but can you guys coordinate before the video cause u are yelling as loud as the exhaust
+Club Bmw Amg i agree. it was impromptu, just went for food but had to make a video before we went in.
v10 symphony great video tho, planning to go catless on my f13 650
great mod, definitely

ofcourse it's never gonna be c63-loud. The C63 has a huge V8 and it's NA.
Is this the N63 motor or the N63tu because im wondering if I should upgrade to the 2016 550i thanks
Do you lose any power when doing this
+HarmanGill64 no, def felt better

Ahh ok, thats a fair point. Thanks :)
+ Aman D Not the case here with twin turbos. Back pressure provides no benefit as it would in a naturally aspirated car.
@v10 symphony did you get the catless downpipes yet? or is this still stock down pipes and straight pipes?
+omar elkhazendar stock dp
who did the work? how much was it if i may ask
Is this a v8?
Yeah, twin turbo 4.4L V8.
What xpipe is this?
h80282 Jones Exhaust 2.5"
