So instead of the isp aggregating and selling your data, cloudflare now takes over this role. I suppose this serves the purpose of hiding your data and traffic from the isp. Time will tell what cloudflare ultimately does with this data.
- All of your internet traffic is routed through the VPN instead of through your ISP. - All of your traffic is encrypted, making it much safer on public WiFi and from hacking in general. - Masks your actual location. Some VPN’s allow you to choose your server location, but that’s not currently a feature of Warp.

@@stevied1266 If you’re connected to Warp then it will not show your home network’s IP address, it would show the location of the Cloudflare server which you’re connected to.
@@obj_obj Hey, I learned some new information since making this video - refer to the pinned comment under this video. Long story short, if a site you’re visiting is in Cloudflare’s network, they can see your real IP.
Without WARP I get 1.2Gbps but with it I get 720mbps. Pretty solid for free.

Not bad but definitely slower since my ping without this is 16ms and with it it is 28ms

No need, all of your network traffic should be running through cloudflare DNS.
If i try to turn on the warp app, it says disconnected. try rebooting. any help?

It still works for me, or if you want to pay for the unlimited, probably just 1 dollar per month
