I hope viewers know just how difficult it is to have your final product be in Black and White - lighting and contrast becomes so important! So the fact that your balances of these look PERFECT and effortless... I'm always just so amazed by your skills. In addition I love the warm sepia tone behind everything, it really feels like I'm watching a vintage detective show! Okay now everyone SHHHHHHHH time for me to snuggle in and watch my stories 🥰🥰
I can do the same thing with stock filters in Windows Movie Maker. These videos are good, no doubt, but spare us the specialized artsy fartsy elitist content creator crap.

The intro made me forget I wasn't watching a movie! The story is compelling, the acting is brilliant, the setup and props are more than accurate and the filming and editing are of a professional level and quality. I never thought a good love story with a bitter sweet ending can be put in a 30 minute video. Thank you for your great cinematic and story writting skills.
It’s such a trope in noirs for the lady private detective and police investigator to fall for each other (Ms. Fisher’s Murder Mysteries and Ms. Scarlett and the Duke as two recent examples). So glad it was included, and done so well!!
That eyebrow raise/reaction at 5:15 during the phone call is Oscar worthy. I 100% forgot I was not watching a tv show or movie. This is amazing! Thank you!

Fun fact : some actress by the time of black and white movies wasn't wearing red lipstick, but green ones while filming to get the "right" shade of grey on the screen. Don't ask me why, this video just remind me this, so I share it. Enjoy !

It baffles me that Diane doesn't have many more millions of subscribers. Honestly, the best: productions, writing, QUALITY and style. I know it's all subjective, but for me she is far superior to most asmrtists that I listen to and know of
I've been watching ASMR for 12 years now and for the last 4 years (from what I can tell is as long as she's been doing this) I've rarely been recommended one of her videos 🤷 god knows why but only this week have I found her work and yes it's some of the best I've seen, definitely extreme effort put into it, making her a true artist and not obsessed with paying the bills ,,,, 2 other things I know for sure, RUclips pushes channels that upload twice a week far far more than any that are once a week or less and ASMR literally only works on less than 40% of humans so it's definitely not for everyone 🤷🤷🤷
This is giving Agent Carter with a touch of Ingrid Bergman, and I am HERE for it! Someone give you the funds, the staff, the crew, to make your own film asap, I would watch it, buy it on DVD, and recommend it to friends already, I absolutely love this and cannot believe I'm watching this for free!

I'm a massive fan of Moonlight Cottage, but I think "You Are The Evidence" is the video I've watched the most. I immediately fell in love with Blanche Higgins, the storyline, setting, and atmosphere was spot on, so I was overjoyed when "part 2" was out. I enjoy all of your content, and there's only so much more you can do with a specific theme, but I hope Blanche Higgins pops up again in the future with some more film noire. Thank you so much x

You could seriously write a book, holy gods. I absolutely love how you wrote and read the opening monologue, and just how well all the dialogue was written in this. The story you’ve crafted over such delicate sounds has had me listening to this like a podcast just to experience it. I feel like with Noir, you especially can lean into ASMR as a medium to tell the story rather than a theme for it (if that makes any sense- everyone whispering and speaking lowly just feels so natural, here, to the point where I don’t think you could make a non-ASMR version and have the atmosphere come through right). 100% love this, and I love these characters and this world

I have said for years that ASMR should be shot in 24/25 fps. Give us that cozy cinema vibe! Great lighting, great compositions. Can't imagine how long it took to get all of this coverage.
There are a lot of ASMRtists who will make triggering sounds just for the sake of it, whereas yours are always really embedded in the story or activity and don't feel like they are shoe horned in. I really appreciate you doing this ❤

I have said for years that ASMR should be shot in 24/25 fps. Give us that cozy cinema vibe! Great lighting, great compositions. Can't imagine how long it took to get all of this coverage.

There are a lot of ASMRtists who will make triggering sounds just for the sake of it, whereas yours are always really embedded in the story or activity and don't feel like they are shoe horned in. I really appreciate you doing this ❤
