When I look at the women on whose shoulders I stand ,,,Ms Caren Wakoli is one of them ! Thanks for giving birth to ELF ! This platform has shaped a huge part of my life ! Thank you!
The first thing I noticed about her in engage talk earlier on, was her posture. There is something about her presence. She carries herself with so much grace. Listening to her ignites in me the desire to go back to school.
Watching this one from Norway; Caren is such a great orator! I was kind of busy this evening, thought I could just watch for 5 minutes and then pause...ooh, I ended up watching the entire clip...and I don't regret! Thumbs up from your fan in the Scandinavia! :)
I am so inspired by this .. I am 33years old and I've been trying to work towards changing the direction in my career, there are moments I felt I was too old to do this now.. but after watching this I've realised the only thing limiting me is the fear in my mind!! I'm going for it,, thank you for your powerful words Caren , I'm so inspired 🙏🏾
Oh my God, i just woke up this Saturday morning to a link posted on a campus group. I said let my finger go a head for a click, I don't regret every second after that for half an hour. This lady's story, successes and failures, progress, dreams, inspirations isn't about the UON input to society but about today's generation is the future to take over and make a difference. God bless, Uon, youths of this continent and improve life's. God bless. There are so many people I have come to learn who have gone through campus but very few with a Good heart, disciplined, of integrity, values and principles that build and push for performance and growth instead of petty talk same last year this year. Godspeed and inspirational.
I just love you story. It needs to be told to many more young people, especially the once from poor background, because you have shown that "anybody, however poor can become anything" as your dad said.
Love your story... I missed it having left Turi last year my daughter finished year 13. Growing up in the same village with you in Sinoko Caren so proud of you 👌
I have watched you over the years and can attest to the authenticity of your story. May God use you more to invest an eternal mark in those who aim to make a difference amidst challenges of today and the past. God bless you.
May God bless your soul sis.......You have been a blessing in my life just getting to interract with you....your humility has given me hope in life....your story has touched me again and again having been through the same.....
Oh my. When you talked about the pay slip i was taken back to my time in high school when mom showed me hers. 3k was what she was left with after all deductions...including the loans she took for my school 😣 i stopped asking for stuff...i stopped thinking she dint love me like the other kids were by their parents...i started telling myself that i had to succeed and one day buy them for myself and provide for her.
