      Heifetz was slower but IMO has a nicer tempo and rhythm to it.. Kavakos was quick and precise.. Probably to show his technical prowess.

      Its interesting, I was just watching a doc about paganini and it mentioned how he supposedly could play at an incredible speed of 12 notes per second. I've heard other people say this guy is able to play around 13 notes per second so he might have actually one upped paganini here lmao

    I am so proud that I took a 3 hours interview from Leonidas Kavakos! But it's in Greek, as we are both Greeks! However, I'll try and add some English captions in the future. Kavakos is a pure legendary violinist! His technique is extraterrestrial! His musicality divine!

    Kavakos is the king of technique. He is so close to perfection with the Paganini Caprices and seems to excel with exceptionally difficult material... just from what I've seen and heard.

    This is the complete opposite what I imagine Paganini's performance might have been.
    Paganini's fierce, emotional, displaying his virtuosity, while Kavakos' so reserved and economic he never makes an unnecessary movement. Funny thing that it does not make him less virtuose the slightest.
