MARRIED TO MY VIOLIN shut up lmao they’re saying he has the best they’ve ever seen not that they can’t do it and he probably has the best I’ve ever seen too
Its interesting, I was just watching a doc about paganini and it mentioned how he supposedly could play at an incredible speed of 12 notes per second. I've heard other people say this guy is able to play around 13 notes per second so he might have actually one upped paganini here lmao
@Ananvay Pant That's incredible, I thought I had read that somewhere, I just didn't want to exaggerate so I tried to average it out a little. Still, the fact that he can play at that speed is crazy, in this case I'm sure Paganini would be impressed if he were around to see it
@@UchihaZoSo He plays 19-20 notes per second in Pag 5 mid passage. I guess others can do it too but to keep the speed even and with clear articulation (like Kavakos did) is truly insane
I am so proud that I took a 3 hours interview from Leonidas Kavakos! But it's in Greek, as we are both Greeks! However, I'll try and add some English captions in the future. Kavakos is a pure legendary violinist! His technique is extraterrestrial! His musicality divine!
Kavakos is the king of technique. He is so close to perfection with the Paganini Caprices and seems to excel with exceptionally difficult material... just from what I've seen and heard.
At 2:27 his violin starts literally singing! I've heard Heifetz, Perlman, Markov, Gitlis, Accardo and many more play it, but Kavakos is truly unreachable!

On the rise, but still not as popular as pop music. No contradiction.
