DARK is considered one of the FASTEST and most MECHANICAL Players in the current Rocket League scene. He plays out of Saudi Arabia is widely known for his incredibly consistent execution of the Pogo Mechanic.

Dark's solo plays are insane but I have to imagine he's really tough to team with. Looks like he's just playing his own game the whole time.

This video is definitely sped up though… just look at the timer. You can also notice the pitch of the game sound is slightly off compared to normal.
I had been thinking the same thing for about a month. Smaller channels reposting games from Dark/Zen. But if you play a stopwatch at the same time as the game it syncs. It looks like he’s too fast but I can’t explain it because the clock is correct. Just that good ig?

It’s probably the opposite of stressful for him. People that do stuff like this in games are usually very fidgety and need to be constantly doing stuff the whole time to feel comfortable
I won't even act like I can play anywhere near dark's level but within the concept of playing fast/ dashing and flipping everywhere all the time, it's simply very fun for myself so i imagine it's also fun for dark to do. It doesn't really get tiring especially since it becomes your playstyle so you get used to it

Holy shit! 13:35 Velocity Missed and that's exactly the moment when one might throw the towel and blame your teammate, but Dark just jumps to kill the first backboard rebound and wait for the shot instead of triying to close the distance by rushing... That's quite the play
damn if i could learn how to do wall dashes and zap dashes even 25% as well as dark, that would up my game by a few levels... his mechanics are filthy

At 2:37 even at Full boost and supersonic, the guy still wastes 1/4 of his boost and keeps wavedashing to acomplish nothing, somethimes he just need to breath and think a little, but It always seem like he has extreme anxiety and needs to be doing something all time even if its useless

Cheat codes:
-high fov
-supersonic speed often(and the camera drop back)
-good control
This is the rl equivalent to the fps style of all aim no brain. His ability to hit these mechanics and maintain speed is crazy, but it often makes him unable to effectively string plays together. It’s ends up being a ton of smacking the ball and getting 50s while going fast. Mad impressive nonetheless.

The quality of the videos are great, but sadly the goal commentary is a bit lacking. You are focusing way too much in repeating what we can see, but the reality is that the play that brewed the goal started a few plays before I.E: 10:00 Dark purposedly shots off target to force the defense to catch the rebound on the wall and get their boost, then he signals his teammate he is leaving the ball by driving up the wall, setting up for a shot on goal
You have a gold mine here, focus more on the decission making rather than recounting how many flips he got before scoring... Another example 11:54 is not the pressure, but the possitioning, When Velocity takes the ball dark slows down going on a diagonal to give himself options, then when the rebond ensues he has opened up his shooting angle and spacing to create the power shot.
That whole play is a microcosmos of how good dark is and people only notice his flip resets and dashes... These are the options a lesser played might have taken.
1) Challenging the defender on a lost 50/50 on the corner jumping towards them (While your teammate can't do anything to capitalize and gifting the ball to their defender on goal)
2) Conserved his angle and atacking directly facing the wall (This sometime may work if you are a god at redirects)
3) Going towards the middle expecting a pass
4) Following too close, will have render him with less options and shooting angles
5) Not giving himself the spacing needed for the powershot resulting on a low altitude/ low powered shot.
I'm a Rocket League caster for the SAM region and i can't wait to be able to cast some Dark games! Keep up the great content Artima!
In the first 2mins 40 seconds he literally didnt do ANYTHING, just going fast across the field... Oh yeah, he missed an super easy OPEN Net at 2:30 in the video, exactly because of doing those stupid dashes when not necessary... He is good but Zen is a class above

Yeah it looks good but you gotta feel bad for his teammates as the adaption you have to do to play with this guy is hard. Dude plays as if its a 1v1 match and not a 2v2, not a lot of regard for his teammates.

Don’t think his play style is sustainable either long term as he gets older.
