What an incredible sight-seven ships and a whale! 🐋🚢 Point Lonsdale really offers some amazing maritime activity. I’d love to know more about the whale’s behavior around the ships. Does this happen often here? Thanks for capturing such a unique moment!

Excellent video, and wow, it's so amazing to see the whale alongside the ships! 🐋🚢 Nature truly has its own way of surprising us, especially in busy maritime zones like this. It's incredible how these massive vessels and wildlife can coexist. Do you often spot whales in this area? Looking forward to more great content like this!

Tides and traffic varies from day to day there are days when all the movements are at night due to berth allocations in port.

Amazing. Gues there heading south after wi tering up North.
I've watched them from above at the Byron Bay lighthouse heading north.
Will you get frequent sightings of the whales in the next month? I'd love to take my youngest grandson down to watch them.

It's the first I've been able to catch on camera, a few friends watch for them more than me but they are not common to the area. More so down near the Warrnambool area.

With that amount of traffic around, I would have thought the acoustic environment would be a bit much for the whales!
