Wonpil's story is a little wage, but it has something to do with family, he is alone and suffering from anxiety. Dowoon losing his shiba is a metaphor for losing himself, as his denimal (Every member in Day6 has a "mascot" representing them) is a dog. The closest thing I can think of to the term you were looking for at 3:16 is "decrescendo" but that might just be in orchestral music. I've never hear this song before but I really liked it.

yes day6's live performances are also my preference. like, we can feel their emotion more 😭 also they always sing live, and it makes the performance more enjoyable because they like to do some improvisation here and there

I think the term is actually descending notes. Decrescendo refers to a decrease in volume. The volume didn’t go down but the notes did 😁👍🏼
