Just watching these brief highlights it's easy to see how City are where they are sloppy and naive defending at times leaving huge gaps at the back and only due to poor attacking play by Southend and York's keeper kept them in charge.
Southend’s first red card wasn’t even a foul, let alone a red card. Shocking refereeing. For most of the game Southend we’re the better team, just let down by a bit of poor finishing. York are a pretty poor side. Can see them hovering around the lower part of the league.
@@warburtonpaul Oh, I don’t disagree, it didn’t look like a red to me either, even as a York fan. Just that ‘last man tactical foul’ is the only possible reason I can think for a ref to give a red in that situation. I’d hope for Southend’s sake the card is overturned, honestly.
