There is a male and female cardinal pair that frequent the feeder right outside my window. Unfortunately they are forced to come one at a time because it is weighted to stop squirrels and when they both land on it, it dumps them. I won't see this happen on my feeder. Cool video.
its so cool that cardinals don't just mate for life, they actually love their partner and do otherwise useless things to demonstrate their love
I have been feeding a Cardinal pair for two years and the male bird always makes sure she eats first. Love to watch them.
