The human eye can see upwards of 500+hz, the average person sees 60-90hz. The average person can perceive 30-60fps. It’s part of why 120fps is the sweet spot as it’s double the max frame rate of the human eye to allow for better stability.
Resolution is pixel rate and the rate for that is 1,920 or 2,063,600/1,166,400 (1920/1080p). Aboximately half of one of the divisors. Whereas refresh rate say 144hz or 360 hz is the number of times those pixels refresh per second. So 144 times and 360 times in the former and ladder cases. So 1,166,400/refresh rate 144=8100 milliseconds processing speed limit to the 360z processing speed limit = 3,240 How both resulting and refresh rate is related had to do with how the cornea input shifts in movement per square'2 area everything is cubed due to the geometry of the screen/monitor. Also, it is a busted myth: The human eye can actually see up to 150 frames per second, which is 150hz for the average person. Of course old school gamers like me knew this 20 years ago. I was playing at 120hz and 120 fps back on CRT monitors. Yes I'm old af.

Pretty sur ethe human Eye sees anything below 25 frames per second as pictures. Not Hrtz and faster Frames is smoother.

Humans can usually tell the difference up to 75fps based on some research in 2014. However, recent research has indicated this isn't true for professional gamers as their eye processing speed is better than most people. This is also why professional gamers fall off as they age because eye processing speed decreases as you age
