@@blankwyvern9165 the song about the 1916 easter rising in Ireland, in which the Irish fought for independence against British rule at the time, hence why the war references in the original song. You can look up the 1916 Rising if you want to learn more about it.
What I don't like about this particular cover of this song is the lyric changes. Where this cover says "With their tanks and their bombs and their *drones*" to sort of modernise it, it's different to the original lyric "and their *guns*"
And then the flat out erasure of the lyric "It's the same old theme since 1916" to make it about today's times doesn't sit right with me at all
