    As you see it, could it be possible to reuse the old thermostat housing? Is it possible to remove only the thermostat? I have a 1.6 Fiat Stilo and in the summer I don't like the 88C thermostat because it is very slow to open and with 40C outside sometimes you can see over 102C when going uphill with AC on. Also on engine shut off I see sometimes even 110C (with engine off) because the stupid fan stops at 92C.

      Yep i see it... Unfortunatly you cannot reuse. I belive you can remove the thermostat inside but i imagine that you cannot re-install another. At least i never saw that... Even i dont know if you can find just the thermostat for sale without the housing.

      @@RandomTubePT Interesting, so I guess the only practical solution is to use the thermostat from the older 1.4 8v or 1.6 8v engines which exist in 82C variants. And then the 2 sensors on the original housing will have to be drilled and placed somewhere else. Fiat did an unbelievable shit job with the thermostat design on the 1.6 16v engine.

    Quando a temperatura aparece assim, experimenta dar umas pancadinhas por cima do conta km. Há um problema comum nos Bravos 182 que julgo ser uma solda de má qualidade que fica com mau contacto e por vezes a temperatura mostrada não é a correta.
    Por outro lado, se essa temperatura for real a ventoinha do radiador tem que arrancar.

      Nao deve ser teal amigo eu acho que o quadrante nao está bom porque tenho oscilação tambem na velocidade, mas entretanto trocar os testantes sensores... Mas acredito no quadrante meio maluco... 😅

    Hi, my cousin bought a 1.6 Bravo like yours, but the engine temperature gauge is going sometimes really up and sometimes down within 3 or 4 minutes of driving only, and also the coolant water is consumed quickly what do you think it could be? , also the second question he asked me is what kind of bulb should he be using for the roof lamp ?       Hi Bro... The first question is really hard to tell because that could be many things... But start to see if there is no leaks on the cooling system... Remove the return hose on the expansion tank and see if the coolant is returning ok... Check the cap of the expansion tank ( that is not just a cap is a valve to keep the pressure)... There is many things that could be but in worst case could be a blow head gasket... The bulb i will take a look and msg you...

    Io ho lo stesso problema, ho cambiato il radiatore con uno nuovo,sensori e termostato,filo di massa sul telaio e strumento nuova originale fiat ma il problema rimane, ho rifatto testata bronzine fasce elastiche e dopo due anni ho dovuto togliere il termostato e ho di nuovo la testa bruciata

      Nel mio caso sembra che si tratti solo di una cattiva lettura. Cosa purtroppo comune in queste auto. Devo ancora esaminare più da vicino questo problema perché, sebbene sia migliorato, non è ancora stato risolto. Ho letture sbagliate della temperatura sul cruscotto.
