it probably would've been a good idea to likely do a little looking into the more obscure upgrades that you didn't quite understand before doing a ranking, since some of the rankings here seem to be skewed due to a lack of information. The sonar upgrade increases the effects duration, not the sonar size The upgrade icon with the hourglass is the regeneration delay (ie how long you have to wait before health regeneration starts) The toxic upgrade does not do the same thing as the fire upgrade. The upgrade actually just increases the activation radius of your toxic aura and thats it. The overheat upgrade (the one with just the thermometer, no flames) is very useful on the all-star class, since it acts as that classes version of an ammo upgrade (sorta)

I’m surprised he didn’t mention All-Star(s) even once when talking about the Overheat/Overheat Penalty upgrades, and fr, Overheat Penalty is a bottom tier upgrade once you learn to let your weapon cool off/fire in bursts. Plus, the legendary meter upgrade doesn’t make that much of a difference on some legendary variants; I understand the philosophy of putting it in S-tier, but I find it more like a B-tier or low A-tier. The Toxic upgrade is also hardly worth it, especially since Fire is a superior element to begin with.
On about the damage upgrade: It's not worth it on 2 characters: Reg Pea and Plumber. It adds +2 damage to reg or +1 to plumber and does NOTHING for them, no health breakpoints, no faster ttk, it's more worth it to run health on both.

The only benefit is you can kill 4 characters and an AI to charge it instead of 5, and this is especially useless on Disco Chomper since he has to swallow, so it's only useful on Gardens & Graveyards. - It's a common misconception that the speed upgrade is beneficial on slow characters, when in reality, it works with a multiplier, not an addition, so a Sunflower will benefit from it far more than a Cactus; in fact Armor Chomper is so slow that the upgrade barely makes a difference. - Toxic Upgrade predominantly increases the toxic aura; I think it does increase the damage slightly but it's a massive step down from Fire. - I rarely overheat except with SBs, but I switch overheat penalty out on some characters, especially tanks because I find health regen useful on characters with high HP. - I generally use two digestion upgrades instead of damage for the Chompers that gain a buff from swallowing, especially Disco and Hot Rod; I used to do the same for Chompula but from Lt Dark Ring I found out about a hidden mechanic that increases his healing when the damage upgrade(s) are equipped, going from 50 to 60 when you have both on.

If I made the list my changes would be. The fire upgrade down from S to B, one extra damage per tick is not that good. Digestion would go from B to A, the game constantly makes me eat people even when I don’t want to so I always have one digestion upgrade just in case. Toxic upgrade would go from B to D tier, it only increases the toxic aura which sucks, which is also why Sanitation Expert and Toxic Rose don’t have it since they don’t have the stink aura. Overheat upgrade, the one without the flames would go from B to S, being able to shoot more without overheating is great for Citron, All Star, and Torchwood is great, and if Ammo is in S so should Overheat. Speed would go from B to C tier, I personally just don’t find many points where it’s useful. And finally both Regen upgrades would go from C to B tier, regenerating Health quicker and having your regen start quicker is nice. And everything else I pretty much agree with.

Camo Cactus and Mob Cob both get damage and penetration, but lose out on ammo upgrades. Flameface also loses ammo (because fire replaces damage), so only Camo Ranger is really hindered by this
Some things: I'm not sure about this but isn't there a thing where legend meter always stop a sliver away from the legendary mode? ie it still takes 5 kills for crunch mode but the bar is filled slightly more. Upgrade aint that good if you know how to properly shoot.
I only use it on Computer Scientist, the rest of the class have pretty slow reloads so it's beneficial to use that upgrade instead (except Chemist where I use both ammo upgrades)

Landscaper only ads 3 damage on direct hits and nothing on splash its also not worth it
