    Wonderful presentation. It is enlightening to see the scale of many artworks knowing them only by reproductions in books.

    This was actually broadcast on ITV on Sunday 29th March 1987 for "The South Bank Show".

    I wonder if the gentleman at the 35:00 mark is an elsa schiaparelli fan, too. His shocking pink collarless shirt was unexpected lol

      That gentleman is none other than Richard Rogers, one of the most revered architects from the late twentieth century.
      As to whether he's partial to Schiaparelli, I can't say for certain. However, considering his Italian birth and notable Italian aesthetic influences, it wouldn't be a stretch to suspect he might be a fan. ;)
