Funnily enough - I've sketched out quite a similar design (really, really similar actually and so far I have only modelled it in cardboard) I guess there are only so many ways to be different from a LP/Strat/tele - be not as extreme as a BC Rich Warlock/Mockingbird or V - and remain somewhat attractive. Yours has more of an offset and your upper horn/ bout has more of a rake than mine, with mine having more of a distinct, pointy peak. And I have a subtle chamfer to the front edge of the bout. My upper-back/ forearm carve are does not extend as far as yours - plus I was playing with a tele-style control layout. I went with a slightly more-square lower horn, so the angle of it apes the upper one. The sides are closer to parallel/ horn base size as I wanted the visual "weight" to balance against the size of the upper bout. It might work for yours since you added the width in version 2. Although, there are enough big guitars and we need more for the mid/small size person :) I also have a Parker Fly- like headstock, so the lower horn mimics that too. The widening for greater hand access is a good idea - I was just going to do a spoon-carve on the body for mine - but I may widen it and see what that looks like against the rest of the design. Your's stays in balance. Be careful moving that centreline - may make it look a bit bottom heavy. I do like the greater offset as it makes it look comfy for classical-style play - I was trying to not get too close to Strandberg in my design - but yours is distinct enough. Speaking of Strandberg - have you thought about doing the jack they way they do it? A notch cut in the back, not visible from the front - and just a regular round jack?
@frankiechan9651 Thanks for the thoughtful comment. I'd love to see your design. Though you described it so well, I can almost see it anyway. When I added the extra width to version II, I simply added 3/8" to either side of the original center line to push all the width limited margins out, and for some reason when I made the new template I placed the centerline on the _treble_ side of my 3/8" extention limit when it should have just been reestablished where it originally was in the center. So should be able to comfortably move the CL back by 3/8" and it will bring things into better accord. I do keep in mind that I'm hypercritical of my own design esthetic, so I will keep objective. I have made a guitar with the Strandberg style hidden output jack. I'll make a short in a little while to show you. Per my shape for this guitar, whatever you do, don't look up the Fernandez Ravelle haha
@@peachmelba1000 Never heard of the Fernandez Ravelle - but take a peek at the Padulka Saturn and the Abasi Larada - which is what I was design-riffing on.
@@peachmelba1000 Oh, and I also agonised over every little change - I mapped my design off on graph paper and I have a folder full of sketches, where lines move (at half/ quarter scale) less than 8/100 of an inch on the grid cells.
@frankiechan9651 Now that I looked at it, I recall seeing the Padalka Saturn before. It's a really impressive design. Same for the Larada. The Larada I would classify as being a bit on the large size in the six string variant, but it certainly works as the number of strings go up. I had originally conceived of my brand as being geared toward smaller players exclusively, but I now think that as time goes forward, I may consider allowing players to "size" their instruments to suit their statures. This would be achieved by offering perhaps four different size varisnts of each body type, pairable with any usable scale length and number of strings. With the flexibility of a CNC machine and CAD/CAM software, it should be fairly straightforward to create and run those program variants at need. Have a good one. I hope your design and eventual build both work out.
I'm old school, and most likely not be a customer that would look for guitars that are not in a conventional shape. Would I try it? Yes, if I was in a guitar shop I'd try it.

I just posted a video that shows the hidden jack and some other stuff. Thanks again.
