I'm not saying that Asif is bad, well actually I like him. Handsome and good-looking. It was due to his bad luck and poor acting skills that he couldn't become a super star. Please don't blame the reason's of his unsuccessful carrier on the Khans. They were not his contemporaries as Asif started working in 1988, when the GREAT KHANS were not there in the industry. Khans were better as simple as that. Tabbassum talkies should stop spreading lies that Asif's career didn't blossom because of Khans. Don't stoop to cheap tricks to become popular. You are a failed actor as well. Even your super popular mum couldn't save your career ..... are you gonna blame it on the Khans as well 😂😅
But Salman Khan gave him role in . his home production movies... Pyar Kiya to Darna kya, I : proud to be an Indian, Bharat etc

Yes boss sitcom on sab tv was the first major breakthrough for Aasif Sheikh. He played Vinod Verma's aristocratic, egotistical high class character to perfection. Serial was so successful that all characters were changed but his and Rakesh Bedi's did not. Then after a brief gap, bhabhiji started and rest is history.

I don't know much about his films, but tv series Bhabhi ji Ghar pe hain is excellent.
90s was very competitive time because many heroes debuted at that time including ronit roy , vivek mushran , kamal sadanah , harish , ayub khan , sumit sehgal , deepak tijori , avinash wadhawan also three khans so only 3 khans and ajay and akshay got successful so its obvious not everybody could get successful.
A nice video on a good actor Asif, success eluded him in films, but his destiny was with television. After the advent of many private channels on the small screen, there was plenty of work for good actors & Asif got an opportunity to showcase his talent, which waz equally loved by the people.
Happy to learn that his earlier dark days of struggle are niw behind him & he has a bright career ahead.

Asif played way more characters in Bhabhiji Ghar par he that got him a British award for that which requires a lot of talent. Khans combined even didn’t play those many characters in their films.
