I fell in love when I was 14 and my English Teacher played ‘Anne of Green Gables‘ for us. My other teacher introduced me to O. Henry. Then when I was 19 I was introduced to Mary Webb. I had/have some wonderful people in my life. In between I was fortunate to discover the public library. You were fortunate MJ reggolb. I had wonderful teachers in my life 😊

I was unsure about the book in the beginning, but being in an ‘impossibility’ to chose another at the time, I kept listening. I am delighted to say it grew on me. Love the development of the characters and the description of the scenery. Love the voice and interpretation of the narator. I guess I got enchanted in September 😅

I loved the story and, Oh, Linda Taylor as the reader makes it come alive. She has the perfect voice to relax by and picture the story. At night I have it when I retype to fall asleep when I’m wrestles or in pain & fin myself asleep. The next. Day I jest pick up the story where I remember leaving or I put it on when I need to relax from working hard & have a headache. The perfect cure.
So the author was at the end of her second set of 28 when she wrote this. It took me awhile to slow down, to ease into the tempo of the book and now, at 3:06:24, I am comfortable and enjoying the unfolding of each character ❤️🌿
What an absolute joy this reading is! Very grateful I am. As I listen I have the cast all figured out from a list of the current Hollywood stars and I can envision them acting out the story. Such fun!
