    Great review. I am in the process of buying either the mb3 or tpxl and I am having the hardest damn time. I am a residential tech looking to make a maintenance /service bag that will fit my measurequick set up. Looking to fit the following: fluke 902fc. Completed 8 piece joblink set (psychs,manometers,clamps and pressure probes) static pressure tips and hoses. 11-1 Klein, nut driver 1/4, strippers, diag cutters, bits, stubby 1/4/5/16 slide driver, refrig ratchet, brushes. Flashlight. Allen k t handle, knipex cobra and pliers, maybe some extras I am forgetting
    In your opinion which would be better suited for me ?

      I’m partial to the TP XL, it just seems to be more versatile for me, and has easier accessibility when looking for tools. I use mine everyday. My MB3B has my electrical terminals, meter, and wire strippers and a small socket set. It’s harder to access tools inside the bag, compared to the TP XL where you can flip the flap open and see it all, plus store things in the flap pocket, plus some items in the iPad pocket in the back, such as manometer tubing. It has a lot of potential.

    Thanks for taking the time to review both of these!
    I am hesitant to pay this much when I can just get another MC for much less and have more space it looks like and what seems like a heavier duty bag still.
    I wish Veto themselves would let us see more before choosing too,why not provide a lot of pics on the Website,I never could have appreciated the features of these bags without you review here!

      avservice314 that’s exactly why I do this. We need to let others know what the bag looks like, what it’ll hold, so others like yourself can make a decision on what to spend your money on. I’m glad you appreciated the video, thanks for watching.

    Definitely love the new bags. Thanks for showing layouts of them!! I really like my Tp4b but need extra room for my meter and so I have it clipped to side in the fluke bag it came with. Either one of these would fix that issue. Now I can’t decide which one I’d rather have. Love individual tool storage of tpxl but looks of mb are awesome...

    Would the tpxl hold a large multimeter (fluke 1587, 87v or 789) and some basic hand tools. I'm thinking of getting the tpxl to retire my mb to just an instrumentation bag.

      burnedupsparky tips and reviews I’ve got mine packed pretty full with a small meter, but with the meters you’re describing with basic hand tools, I don’t believe you’ll have a bit of trouble. I usually take one of the larger front pockets and move it back and put the meter in, leaving you some of the smaller pockets for hand tools, plus the other half of the bag.

    Thanks for the review I have an IPAD 9.7 with the Otterbox defender case do you think it would fit in the tablet pockets on the rear of those bags

      Scott Stoner I would have to say yes, my tablet dimensions with the cover are 10” high by 7” wide. The width won’t be a problem.

    Great vid man thanks for doing that
    I’ve been looking at these bags hard and really want to buy one however doing HVAC service calls and maintenance I feel like neither of them will fit all that I need. I mean I need a meter, manometer, and some temp reading probes plus the basic hand tools, I don’t see all that fitting into either one. It would be nice if you made a third one that kind of encompasses both. I see the TPXL geared more towards electricians and the MB3B has the space but I think it’s lacking smaller pockets to keep your hand tools better organized, for an hvac service tech anyway, that’s just my take, thanks again for a great vid.

      Hvac Player I’ve got the Testo 510 which is a good manometer and small, and with a Veto parts bag for the hoses and fittings, I don’t see any reason the TPXL wouldn’t fit your needs. I keep the Testo in the pocket on the flap, hang the parts bag on one of the rings the shoulder strap clips on to. I may make a follow up vid on this bag and address your concerns.

      That would be awesome. I’m trying to avoid hanging other bags of the bag otherwise I may as well just get the tech MC

      tcpHVAC/R isn’t that meter in the MB3? Not the TP XL? I really like the tool pocket layout in the TP just want my meter to fit inside with some basic hand tools.

    You think a Milwaukee M12 impact fit in there?

    • @tcphvacr9950
      @tcphvacr9950  5 лет назад

      Jose Rangel it’ll fit, in both bags. In the MB3B I’d probably put it on top after I had a meter and other items in it. In the TP-XL I’d put it to one side of the bag.

    Whick one holds more

    • @tcphvacr9950
      @tcphvacr9950  5 лет назад +1

      Antonio Santiago I think the TP-XL is better for hand tools, holds quite a bit. The MB3B doesn’t have as much organizational storage, but when you put a meter in, I had enough to put in 4 rectangular organizers for electrical connectors, and then put a Wera screwdriver set and small socket set above the meter. I think I’ll make a video comparing the storage, as well as how much room both bags have with different types of meters. Thanks for watching!

    Veto packs Vs? Or tools reviews? 🙄

    • @tcphvacr9950

      Alexander Montoya elaborate. Do you want tool reviews, and if so, which ones in particular? And Veto vs other tool bags? I can do both, although I can tell you Veto will win the bags competition. But please reply, I like video ideas from those who watch.
