Fun fact is that Juan is responsible indirectly and directly for both deaths. Pyrrha loved Juan and didn't want him to die against a superior opponent. She felt she had a duty and because of that love, she died for it. Penny Died by Jauns sword. Juan is responsible for both deaths even if Cinder was involved in both one way or another. He will indeed earn the sword of destruction. Also Juans name is in reference to the saint Joan of Arc. He must suffer for doing the right thing.
@@Quetzalcoatl_Feathered_Serpent , there's an important difference between the two deaths. Pyrrha died after pushing Jaune away, to keep him safe. Penny called for Jaune's aid, hoping her death would let Winter keep Jaune and Weiss safe. Penny was marginally more successful in that it's almost certain both are still alive, but also less successful in that Cinder was injured as a result of Pyrrha's death.

The credit song "Friend" made me cry. I'm not really a crying person, even grief for real life stuff. Such a beautiful song, about how happy Penny was. "Some lives end too soon". Some people are angry that Penny died so soon after becoming human, but I think it adds to the tragedy, she had so much to live for, and Cinder stole it.
I agree, Penny's life was very tragic but she was happy. She had friends and a father who loved her dearly and now will live on in their hearts as well as ours ❤
I know it's pointless to say this but it's still not fair!😫 Penny was more human than machine and everyone acknowledged that including Winter. And when she finally became a full fledge human I was so happy Thinking that in volume 9 penny can finally experience what it is to be human only for it to be short lived. I just wish that we had 1 volume between the 2 I understand that Penny's death hit especially hard being so soon but I would not have made this decision my self.
The way I see vol 9 going is that each episode follows one of the three groups The Fallen, The Survivors, and The Remaining. The Fallen being Ruby, Weiss, Blake, Yang, Jaune, and Neo The Survivors being Oscar, Ren, Nora, Emerald, and Winter. The Remaining being Qrow, Robyn, Harriet, Elm, and Marrow.
I hope team RWBY is gone for a while and presumed dead, give some weight to the other characters and then bring them back only after we've seen the impact their absence has had
I feel so sorry for Jaune, I feel like Jaune’s slowly becoming the next Qrow a great warrior but who will either drink or take drugs to try and forget the things he’s done. Yang was traumatized by the loss of her arm but Jaune hasn’t completely healed regarding not being strong enough to protect Pyrrha and now not being strong enough to save Penny and having to kill Penny that’s like double emotional ptsd. I know that Jaune will be a great warrior I just don’t want to see him suffer but knowing rwby they aren’t done with his torment just yet.

I really hated that Penny had to die after just bringing her back. Edit: As for the rest of the episode itself, I thought it was pretty great but I liked Volume 7’s finale more as a whole. The action was decent, but my favorite part of the episode is how Ruby just lost any care: once she lost trusted weapon and seemingly her sister, she just spitefully tells Neo that she hopes her revenge crusade was worth it.
Least favorite part of the volume was that. Why did she have to die, I think vol 8 overall is pretty good and better than vol 7 personally. But seriously does RT hate redheads. I would’ve preferred if she fell like the others bc we don’t see her again

And now everyone says Neo redemption arc, this could be the start of it. Through V9, Ruby could explain what happened to Roman. Though Neo would still have a grudge because "Roman could've been saved" but eventually learn that Ruby had lost friends too. We can assume that Jaune will also reveal what he had to do, and that would help Neo to realise that the revenge she was seeking was not worth the damage she has caused

Interesting, Cinder killed both Pyrrha and Penny, 2 people who are very close to Jaune and Ruby respectively, and Ruby saw her kill Pyrrha and Jaune was obviously there for Penny's death. Double team kill to avenge them?
When Penny was talking to winter in the afterlife-realm-place, I got reminded of how much I wanted to see a moment like that where Jaune gets to talk to Pyrrha one last time :(
Especially after what Jaune just went through! Kind of everybody, his is just the most intense. I don’t see him ever being cheerful again. It just wouldn’t be right. But also Blake when she sees Yang again! (If they all go to the same place at first) and THEN on top of THAT everyone’s reactions in vacuo when winter tells them they all “died” 😭 and what they think happened. So many emotions 🥲 such a good ending. I’m interested to see how they handle the redemption arc, they haven’t been too good at it in the past solely because of the feeling of being rushed, but now they have potentially the entire volume to flesh out neos arc and I hope they do it well!
You forgot Cinder's comment to Ruby "And you should have never been born", I'm wondering if that is going to have some impact on Ruby in V9 given how everything fell apart in the end of this volume. I'm wonder if instead, through sheer willpower if Qrow flipped his semblance. Qrow also tried to call Yang. I wonder if Neo will still be hellbent on killing Ruby. I mean there got to be some threat to RWBY and Jaune. Yeah I can see them coming across Penny's dead body. That will be an anguish sight to see. They saved her only for her to die anyways. If this is the realm of the relic of destruction I can imagine them using to tear open the door to get out, but at a cost of using it.
I hope for the transportation in the new world, that they don’t start out exploring the place at the same time, but more with time differences in between them like what happend with Thor and Loki in Ragnarok. Making Yang more experienced with the area then the rest cuz she fell earlier then the other main characters
To be honest, she kind of deserves it. Her actions had consequences. Despite her state of mind and misguided drive towards her duty, I would empathize with her hadn’t she tried to kill everyone. I personally have no pity because she now has second thoughts and realized her actions cost them Vine. Vine truly did his duty, she didn’t. So I don’t think she deserves to feel any regrets. Sounds cold, but Vine died to save everyone so she’s not exactly in a position for empathy.
Yeah, Neo is too tunnel visioned to see Rubies moves. Ruby always sort of thought outside the box. Anyone remember volume 1 against the nevermore where she launched HERSELF into the Grimm by using gambol shroud and Weiss her glyphs
I wonder how Salem is going to react when she finds out that cinder lied about ruby’s “Death” and that she ( cinder ) used the last question from Jinn.

I get the feeling that by the time she realized what was happening it was too late to be able to do anything as she went through the portal. Not only that but the shock of "losing" her sister.
She only noticed right as she hit the portal. I feel like even if she had noticed sooner between going back and grabbing him there wouldn't have been time to get there.
I think winter had to consider either Jaunes safety... or that of HUNDREDS of other people outside the portal... don't get me wrong. Jaune is awsome. But his life does not outweigh hundreds of others INCLUDING the very family of a soldier esque person like winter
@@zackrose6261 it was a pragmatic by all means. But still lacking long term... As opposed to asking how we get all relics which would have helped Salem break open Beacon's vault as well as claiming the staff.
I've been on that crusade since the end of Volume 3. She first took Pyhrra from us, and now she caused us to lose Penny. We can't kill Salem, but the same can't be said for Cinder.
I'm really sad that Penny has to die again and permanently in the show. She become human, only to have it ruined by Cinder's actions. Jaune will never be the same when vol 9 comes. He probably won't look at Ruby or Pietro in the eye if they meet again, knowing he took someone precious to them after all their efforts to save her. Also I have a theory about the location with the tropical beach and trees. Since Ambroseus made a dimension of gateways to Vacuo akin to the vaults holding the relics, it's possible that they may be in Shade academy's vault. Or it could be the God of Light's Eden-like domain where he resides since the place seems full of life
I believe when the team described where they'd build the portals, they said a place similar to the vault. I wonder if all the vaults are all part of one alternate dimension. This makes me think that maybe the portal dimension is the same as all the vaults. I think that team Rwby, as well as Jaune and Neo, will reconvene with the others at the vault in Shade Academy.

I feel so bad for Nora fans, just started character development this volume and now she's likely to be having the continuation of that relegated to a book instead of the show. I would like to suggest the name OLVE (Olive) for the team of Oscar, Ren, Nora and Emerald until the rest of our heroes return.
The writers took another massive L in trying to make Cinder a credible villian because Cinder lost again, her goal was to get the maiden powers but all she did was transfer the maidens powers from Penny to Winter. I don't care what Cinder does at this point or what the writers do with her lame character, she will always be trash to me.
@@captain-commander8138 Definite Foreshadowing. I wonder how Cinder will die though, is a different matter entirely. lol She's the worst villain in RWBY. #ArthurWattsIsABetterVillainThanCinder! Is probably why Cinder had to kill a much better and a incredibly well-liked villain.
I think Ruby is starting to realize what I've been saying for awhile - Crescent Rose, only having the scythe and sniper rifle, is a detriment to her continued development as a fighter, especially when fighting people. It's heavy, unwieldy, and the best she can do is defend herself with it (and not always that well against skilled fighters). There's a reason why Harbinger has three (known) configurations - longsword, tonfa, and scythe - because not every configuration is suited for every situation. There's a reason why he'll use the scythe against grimm but the longsword or tonfa against people. Crescent Rose is either going to have to evolve or it's going to have to be abandoned for another weapon.
i'm hoping that it will evolve. probably along with ruby's own personal growth. ruby created crescent rose with the intent to slay grimm, not people. remember, she wanted to be a huntress, not a bounty hunter. but now that shit hits the fan and everything that could have gone wrong went horribly wrong, she will have to accept that her greatest enemy is not the grimm itself. and when she upgrades crescent rose with a form that is specifically made to kill people, it is the moment that ruby will completely lost her childlike innocence and accepts what needs to be done in order to save remnant.
When they fall we see a splash, the end credits show an island. This could be evidence that they're on another planet that the vaults also exists on, one that could have magic and possibly the gods. If this is the case they could just travel to the Vacuo vault within this world and evacuate Remnant to this world and close it off from Salem. This effectively results in Salem's defeat since she wouldn't have access to this world.
Theory Time: Salem WILL eventually gather all 4 relics to summon the god brothers. Remember what the God Of Light said: When we are summoned and return, we will judge this world to see if it is worthy of continuation or destruction. I think Salem will manage to summon them, but only so she can make the case for Remnant's destruction and the end of her punishment of immortality. And I think in this 'courtroom of the gods', Ruby and her friends will make the case for Remnant to continue. In the final episode, it's going to come down to that.
My theory about how team RWBY (and Jaune and Neo) escape the other world is rather simple. If the world they are in is the world where all the relics were stored, then they could walk right up to the relic of creation and/or the relic of destruction. Knowing that Salem intends to collect all the relics, they could just camp out in front of one of the big doors. Preferably the relic of destruction door, since that’s probably Salem’s next destination. The Summer maiden opens the door for Salem and they hit her with the relic of destruction and run right back out into the Vacuo vault and back into their own world. Which of course will be also how they rejoin their friends in Vacuo.
Seeing Penny die back in Volume 3 left a dent in my heart until we found out she was alive, now that Penny died again probably for good has left a hole in my heart. Vine sacrificing himself sucked because he was a good character. Watts was also someone I liked and seeing Cinder kill him just made me even more mad. Volume 8 was nothing that I was expecting and now I have months to be very sad until Volume 9 comes. It’s gonna suck knowing that the group is separated and Penny is dead. Hopefully Volume 9 will be better than this one 🤞
I heard that Volume 9 is the final volume of the series! And that it will consist of only 6 episodes, that are roughly 45 minutes each. That means that if this is indeed true; Volume 9 will only be 4.5 hours long and that of course leaves more than enough room to tie up any loose ends, answer questions that haven’t already been answered by the series, and a 2-episode Neo Redemption Arc (which my sources at RT told was in fact gonna happen), the Beach episode (which I believe will be part of the Neo Redemption Arc), learning what really happened to Summer Rose, discovering who is the Summer Maiden (I believe it’s someone that we’ve already seen in the series, who is believed dead or turned into Grimm), Whether or not the gods of Remnant will indeed return and the Final Battle between; Ruby, Oz and Salem!

@@Maliel_Devil91 i massively take your "sources" with a grain of salt. rwby sells a little too well for Volume 9 to be the ending like the way you describe. Especialy since there are still only 3 maidens featured, 2 of 4 relics and well half the bad guys are still in 1 piece. Too many loose ends to tie up in 6 episodes.
I think that because Neo will be stuck wherever Rwby ends up which means a redemption arc. Time for the two of them to understand eachothers motives and for Ruby to say she didn't kill Torchwick
It has to be. Ruby can tell neo she didnt kill roman but a Grimm did. Team rwby and jaune outnumber Neo literaly 5 Vs 1. CINDER BETRAYED NEO! Neo has NO reason to fight them anymore
Here’s a idea. Cinder try’s to get emerald back on her side but emerald at the same time is trying to get cinder on her side because emerald knows that going back with cinder means going back to Salem and by extent going to her death. She said that she doesn’t care about Salem but owes cinder everything so she might try to convince the person that she owes to come to her side because of that. I think it would be interested to see them both trying to convince each other but eventually find out it’s worthless as they both have a route that they will not stray from. At least that’s what I think might happen.
Literally only one in cinders faction that remotely cared about emerald was mercury and hazel.Emerald probably won't go back seeing how she would think that's spitting in hazels sacrifice if she did
After everything Emerald went through with Hazel, her realizing that was not where she wanted to be, and she declaring she switch side (and has proven that with her actions so far) I think she'll lash out at Cinder once she's had more time to bond with everyone, especially Oscar.
When Cinder activated the lamp, she looked very angry seeing Emerald with Ruby's team. Probably Cinder wants revenge. Just as she did with Neo. Or Watts. So... I guess Cinder will try to sweet talk Emerald, just in order to catch her off gard and stab her in the back. Now I *really* hope that Emerald sees that coming, and somehow has an illusion ready for Cinder when this happens, to reveal Cinders true face. Maybe, who knows. But something will happen between the two of them, that's for sure!
@@lydiageijtenbeek456 Yes, at this point, I can't trust Cinder, she's a poisonous snake who backstab your own kind, she 💯% will brutally kill Emerald for working on good side.
I found it funny how ironwood, Jacque , Watts all were imprisoned in Atlas earlier in the season and then it became them graves. I feel like Team RWBY is in a place like the garden of eden. As it’s between worlds.
I’m not pleased that they brought penny back just to kill her off a second time. Yeah I get the meaning of her sacrifice but that trope never sat well with me of having a resurrected character die again. Otherwise good finale. Hope to see where it goes from here. Maybe Neo will come to terms with ruby and join the team to get back at cinder.
To be honest, I was kind of upset they brought a dead character back in the first place because in real life, we obviously know that cannot happen. In Penny’s case, it can be justified by the fact she was once literal machine and therefore could be rebuilt. However, once she became human, she immediately became bound to mortality in a way that wasn’t prevalent previously. She could actually die die the way a human does and so she did. I feel like it also answered quite a few questions and theories as to why Penny was able to come back but not Pyrrha nor Roman nor Summer, nor any other dead character. I don’t think Penny would ever come back and she served her purpose as a robot but achieved much greater heights as a soul entity. I’m also extremely satisfied that we don’t get a happy ending and it seems like what the heroes did was for naught. There are ACTUAL consequences to the idealistic mindset of our heroes. I think that’s extremely satisfying personally and further adds to the story. It’s okay to not like and not be a fan of it, yet the idea behind it makes a ton of sense.
I've thought of this a while back, since they seem to be following this trope so far: Cinder "Fall" gets the Fall maiden powers, and now "Winter" Schnee gets the WInter maiden powers...Does that mean that "Summer" Rose (aka Ruby's mother) is the Summer maiden? Or will become one? 🤔 Though Raven defies that convention, but a bit of food for thought.
how the hell can Summer be the maiden when she went and confronted Salem 15 years earlier? Hell, Salem would already have had Cinder extract those powers.
@@jeffreysmith236 Well we don't actually know what happened with Summer now do we? Only speculation, even Ozpin doesn't know what happened or what her mission was...

Penny's corpse has no aura or protection, so if they fall into the new world from the portal dimension and aren't teleported there or sumn, it's gonna be a red stain on the ground.

Not a murderer, but Juane has become a killer. His innocence is gone :( However, there it is... Penny and Juane were probably the two most gentle and innocent people we know in the series. Thought she asked him to do it, it is gonna drastically alter how we perceive Juane in the next volume. The fact his sword was broken is of great meaning as well. I'm sure I'm not the only the one who noticed at the hilt of his sword was a replica of Pyrrhas collar armor, when he upgraded his gear. It seems to be an allusion to the body of Pyrrha. Was her heart broken ,in the afterlife, when he ended Pennys life, as she had done so as well, during the Vital Festival Tournament. His shield was made from her armor knowing that the metal from her circlet was used on his shield. It felt like Pyrrha falling again in a way. Bad feels...
@@10tailedbijuu Thanks for replying. Given Juanes nature, I think that distinctions and differences like that won't matter much to him, sadly. They make for lively debate however. The fact he directly ended her life, no matter the circumstance, can't be denied :(
I don't know what Phoenix's T-shirt shows but it was a poetic representation of this episode. The figure carrying their fallen partner forward. Winter carries Penny (and Weiss in her mind) now, the remains of JNPR carries their fallen friends. RWBY carries the weight of their failures. And Qrow... he and the Aces Ops now carries a weight greater than of their failure. They now carry Atlas upon their shoulders. The weight of their world, the death of those they care for, their friends and family and their lost. The after credit scene (and the next volume start?) hints towards many fairy tales but, like the Grimm Brother's Tales, no fairy tales originally had a happy ending. And we must hope that our heroes don't experience that version of those tales.
This was one hell of a volume for sure. Some of the things that I hope to see in the next volume are Ruby and Neo settling their feud, Jaune experiencing hallucinations of Penny, a stranger explaining where they are, and possibility, Yang and Blake talking about being more than teammates. Thank you for this this finale review, Phoenix. I should have subscribed to your channel sooner.
Okay so, how many characters do we have now that could get the killing blow on Cinder and would feel equally satisfying. Ruby Winter Neo Raven The remaining members of JNPR Emerald Hell, let's throw in Salem too. She was *vile* this episode. Love it.
Interesting thought, what if this new realm that they are in also allows some level of beyond the grave communication. So, Ruby and Yang can both communicate with Summer Rose (also can cover the story of team STRQ), Weiss can communicate to her dad, Blake can speak with Adam, Neo can talk to Roman and also Jaune finally gets to chat with Pyrrha.
I was thinking the same thing when I realized that Jaune and Neo fell, I don't think that was a coincidence because as you said everyone that fell lost someone. Plus, every time we saw Summer appear on screen we see a beach scenery (And I believe a tree was also shown one time.) so I love to believe that this realm is most likely like the after life.
I agree, just slight tweak I'd prefer to see: Weiss can communicate with her GRAND-dad, Nicholas Schnee. He's the self-made everyman hero who founded the Schee Legacy into what it is. Jacques, her father, is the greedy little rat-bastard who married into the family and promptly started dragging their name through the mud. Granted, given his death, Weiss COULD also have a chat with Jacques, but honestly, I think Jacques overall relevance to the story has been served and done with. Yes it might be interesting, but honestly, if CRWBY are going to bother pulling the whole "speak with a passed loved one" shtick, Weiss and Nicolas is something I'd MUCH rather see instead.
@@AllForFire I can't imagine Weiss would have much to say to Jacques honestly. Like she probably wouldn't be glad he's dead, but there's not really anything to discuss unless Jacques does some serious introspection about himself.
This brought my stress levels through the roof. I cannot believe all of team RWBY fell along with Neo and Jaune. I did not see Vine’s death coming, but I respect him for what he chose to do. I’m glad Winter is now the winter maiden, but I’m so sad about Penny. I absolutely hate Cinder and cannot wait to see what Salem does to her. Ironwood I hope gets what he deserves because I have no sympathy for him. I hope we have a Jaune and Weiss interaction because that would be amazing. Plus I’d like to see Neo and Jaune interact just to see what happens. I cannot wait for Vol. 9, and the Phoenix Festival.
I just had a Crack Theory! What if the Salem we've been fighting ISN'T Salem! Let me explain. What if, when Salem fell into the Grimm pool, she did die. Her soul went to the afterlife, but her immortal body stayed behind. What was left was something that had her memories, but wasn't the same person. However, since the Gods still want to punish Salem, they trick Ozma into returning to the living world. They also give him an impossible task, thus ensuring that Ozma never returns to the afterlife, and so Salem still can't be with her beloved. I know, Crack Theory, but I can't get it out of my head!
It’s Rooster Teeth. They would probably treat volume 9 of RWBY the same way they did Red vs Blue season 9 where half the story takes place in another world, and the other half is team STRQ flashbacks. Kinda like the capture unit with Epsilon and the story of Project Freelancer.
I want to see how they handle this because neo can’t talk and know she need to explain rwby what her motivation was (even ruby says “whatever you wanted i hope it was worthy” letting us know that se had no clue)
@@Espartanica or she could simply stay rogue and just temporarily join them to beat cinder for potentially killing her. then just leave and do mischief on her own, she does seem to enjoy the underground world, or at least, that's all she knows. though i do want her to actually switch to the good guys too, oh well, que sera, sera...
Penny's death was literally one of the saddest part and I know in my mind it probably is permanent however I still can't help but think back on what Pietro said last volume about Penny and if this were to happen again. What happened to Pietro, because if he's alive and he finds out what happened to Penny from Winter couldn't his ark be him trying to save/build Penny one last time? So couldn't his Ark for the next season Pietro trying to save Penny and used the last of his Aura to do so and while saving Penny, it ultimately ends up killing him and Penny possibly waking up only to see Pietro die? Not that I'd want Pietro to die but what kind of parent especially one that has already seen their child die once and brought them back wouldn't do the same thing again even if it cost them their own life. A life for a life Penny's at the cost of Pietro's.
I wonder if we will be able to see some of the people who fell when Cinder exploded. They should have survived if team RWBY, Neo, and Jaune lived from fall.
My current theory is that this is a kind of Yggdrasil realm, a nexus dimension, and once they figure that out, there's going to be a perilous quest to find the right portal or branch leading to remnant. That's the theory at least.
It makes sense, but I find there might be caveats and restrictions to this idea. It’s not out there that the Gods would have made other worlds, but not with conventional ways to connect them. Like think of the cycle of life and death. They purposely keep the dead in the afterlife and the living out of it. So there might be places they can and can’t go. If the Gods catch wind of them where they shouldn’t be, this could get perilous.

Maybe you should do a theory on the Spirit of the sword. There isn’t a more iconic sword than Excalibur or the sword in the stone since those 2 swords are likely different swords, both from Arthurian Legend. Here’s my theory and my thinking I find it likely that spirit in the sword of destruction, placed somewhere in shade academy, will allude to Merlin. Merlin is the most well known character from Arthurian legend I’d say. The spirit inside the sword alluding to Merlin makes most sense to me as it would align with both my thoughts of the Sword itself alluding to Excalibur and the fact that all the spirits so far be genderswaps of their allusions Jinn alludes to the genie of the lamp from Aladdin and Ambrosias alluding to the blue fairy from Pinocchio. I am a fan of the anime 7 Deadly sins which takes a lot of its characters from Arthurian legend, Merlin is a female in that series. Notice another trend? The 2 spirits that have been revealed to us both allude to magic users. Other candidates I find likely are Vivian/the Lady of the Lake, King Arthur Pendragon himself and Cath Pulag. Cath Pulag is a large cat in Arthurian legend and is said to be the bringer of destruction by some due to her killing King Arthur.
Ambrosius: Looks like someone came seek my creative wilds, what can I do for you? Cinder: This (shows fire in hand) on every square inch of Atlas. Ambrosius: It's done. Watts (as all the computers catch fire): What?!! Would be way more funny in an alternative universe. Cinder: Set fire to every square inch of Altas. Ambrosius: That would be the relic of destruction to destroy a city. Cinder: ...
I think it's pretty heavily implied that the King of Vale WAS a previous incarnation of Ozpin. So that would mean that if Jaune was a descendant of him, he would be one of Ozma as well
Given that Aura derives from magic, and that Ozma has had magic throughout his various incarnations, it would make sense for a descendant of his to have a large supply of Aura - especially having seen from the Original Maidens that having magic can be passed from parents to offspring.
Does anyone else feel like Salem knows that Cinder lied to her but is just letting it go since she got both the relics.

I love the parallel of Jaune and Pyrrha both killing Penny. Pyrrha did it by accident but Jaune HAD to do it. AND it was all Cinder's fault...

@@Quetzalcoatl_Feathered_Serpent , there's an important difference between the two deaths. Pyrrha died after pushing Jaune away, to keep him safe. I'm wonder if instead, through sheer willpower if Qrow flipped his semblance.
Qrow also tried to call Yang.
I wonder if Neo will still be hellbent on killing Ruby. I mean there got to be some threat to RWBY and Jaune.

It went from 0-20

But now that they're both in a position where interaction is almost inevitable, it just went up pretty significantly. Still low but not impossible.

RT will not write out Crescent Rose. So Upgrade time.
i'm hoping that it will evolve. probably along with ruby's own personal growth. ruby created crescent rose with the intent to slay grimm, not people. remember, she wanted to be a huntress, not a bounty hunter.
but now that shit hits the fan and everything that could have gone wrong went horribly wrong, she will have to accept that her greatest enemy is not the grimm itself. and when she upgrades crescent rose with a form that is specifically made to kill people, it is the moment that ruby will completely lost her childlike innocence and accepts what needs to be done in order to save remnant.

Lol that’s would be an interesting storyline
Jaune just needs a hug and Neo just needs some head pats or something
You are SO late to the party pal ;)

The T-Shirt is a scene from "RE:Zero"
From the S8 opening credits..."Happy Ever After" or "Happy Never Again"....
Ruby
Winter
Neo
Raven
The remaining members of JNPR
Emerald
Hell, let's throw in Salem too.
She was *vile* this episode. Love it.
Hell, even Qrow when he finds out about what happened to Ruby and Yang
@@AnimeOPEDGuy_ it's gonna be Summer all over again... but this time he has someone else to blame...
Also summer rose if she's somehow a Maiden
Winter prob not cause eventually she is gonna see that Weiss is alive. She will definitely still hate cinder tho.
@@kingraplhmativo5178 and Alive...
I agree, just slight tweak I'd prefer to see:
Weiss can communicate with her GRAND-dad, Nicholas Schnee.
And in the last episode of Volume 9 we see Summer telling the STRQ story to Team Rwby and Jaune as they find a way back home.
I hope Neo joins the group next and we get her background story.
She probably will end up working for whitley as a bodyguard
I dont. I am sick of this swapping sides shit. Let her be her on her own.
@@axx012 It would make perfect sense for Neo to decide to join team RWBY after spending time with them and having no one else to go to
I want to see how they handle this because neo can’t talk and know she need to explain rwby what her motivation was (even ruby says “whatever you wanted i hope it was worthy” letting us know that se had no clue)
I hope Pietro get to talk with the staff to make Penny 4.0
Yep, I really wanted to see their reunion, with her being a normal girl. It's a tragedy.
i don’t think penny can come back, she’s a part of winters mind now meaning there might not be a way to bring her soul back
Also she died a human, not a robot so...
I don’t think Penny will come back. If she does somehow get resurrected, she will officially be the Kenny of RWBY.
Deceased: ironwood, Watts, Vine, Penny.
Team Rwby, neo and jaune: unaccounted for...
We never see Ironwood died onscreen
But Atlas fell on him. Maria and Pietro are also probably dead
@@Sawcybui actually, ironwood was in a vault in Atlas and I didn’t see the part of below Atlas being destroyed
@@Darh1407 No, but the whole thing flooded. Seemed pretty final, no one's coming back for him.
@@tykross probably but this is RWBY somehow he is gonna be back
I wonder if we will be able to see some of the people who fell when Cinder exploded. They should have survived if team RWBY, Neo, and Jaune lived from fall.
Assuming it didn't require landing strategies.
@@acgearsandarms1343 good, I want to see the gang verbally tear into the gods for the bs they have been put through as a result of their actions. Might actually make the god of light realize he’s not really a god of creation
@@dragonstouch1042 You would want to watch your words carefully considering he IS a God of Creation. They can destroy you if they choose. You can chastise them within reason.

Lol nora being winter maiden never happened lol but that was more of a hope but God winter is gunna be an OP maiden with her summoning and runes.🤩
Not to mention that Winter is a TRAINED WARRIOR.
@@Ironclad62 yeah she's gunna be a scary and OP character lol I am disappointed that penny died after being human for like an hour. I'm glad she gave winter the maiden powers but I wish they dealt with penny alittle differently.
We mostly saw her using the winter maiden powers in a way similar to glyphs, so it'd be interesting to see how she uses it with practice because right now she's using it in the way she already knows how to fight.
Maybe you should do a theory on the Spirit of the sword. There isn’t a more iconic sword than Excalibur or the sword in the stone since those 2 swords are likely different swords, both from Arthurian Legend.
Here’s my theory and my thinking
I find it likely that spirit in the sword of destruction, placed somewhere in shade academy, will allude to Merlin. Merlin is the most well known character from Arthurian legend I’d say. The spirit inside the sword alluding to Merlin makes most sense to me as it would align with both my thoughts of the Sword itself alluding to Excalibur and the fact that all the spirits so far be genderswaps of their allusions
Jinn alludes to the genie of the lamp from Aladdin and Ambrosias alluding to the blue fairy from Pinocchio.
I've got you covered friend! ruclips.net/video/V28f_48sBDU/видео.html
You and I have almost the exact same ideas too 😁
As always my friend, incredible narration and a soothing voice. And of course thank you for the preview.
