    I had to look up SAE 4320 alloy steel up, looks like it has extra Nickel in it, great machining as always.

    At 9.50 you didn't do the drilling operation? Lifting that thing in and out and turning around must be a pain. Great job Chris. 👍

    Как всегда-хорошо. А уж метод замера диаметра через окружность вообще супер) Надо будет попробовать, а то всё штангель, да штангель))
    Правда я надеялся , что зуб тоже нарежешь)

      Hola compatriota , es una verguenza ARGENTINA TUVO muy buena industria con 7 famosas fabricas del automovil y otras industrias textiles , del caucho GOODYEAR Y OTRAS.
      Por malos goviernos se perdio todo muy ra`pido despu`es de los an~os 1985, Argentina tuvo fabricas muy buenas, co ban~os para ban~arse , sindicatos que protejian al operario,etc ,
      actualmente en CANADA Y USA no se encuentran fabricas tan buenas y de buen trato al trabajador.
      Los oficios y las escuelas te`~cnicas de Argentina fueron muy buenas apesar de la mala economia Peronista que robaron todo. Saludos desde ONTARIO..

    I.D. mics on a .001 toleranced bore is usually not recommended. Since most I.D. mics I've seen have. 001 graduations. But experience always plays a role in this whole process. I have several other thoughts but good job.. 👍

      @@richardhead8264 it shrinks almost exactly one tenth of a thou per 1 degree Celsius of cooling down at 9 inch size

    Hi, how do you make sure to keep those tight tolerances and how do you deal with tool deflection/vibration? Few times I scrapped a part because tool started vibrating on the last pass although depth of cut didn't change or dia changed 0.2 although I changed offest about 0.04. Those parts were much much smaller though.

      It's hard to tell. Every machine is different you have to know what your machine can and can't do.

    You’re using (correct me if I’m wrong ) to program I think it’s like a system similar to igf the system okuma has. I think on a fanuc oi control it’s called ios or iso something like that
