Thank you, Daria. My sister lives and works in Sofia and a week ago I finally went to visit her. I'd love to learn some Bulgarian. You are a great teacher.
It is not that hard when you try it and get used to it. from experience i know that when things are explained well then the student understands better. :)
Me too, working with some Bulgarians and they love it when I try to use their phrases but... I speak a bit of many languages and Bulgarian is quite difficult, making my tongue go numb and how accent on second syllable in common words. Then when I get something down good enough to be understood they say, "well, what we really say most often is ____". What follows is like half the consonants in the alphabet pushed together.
My mom is Bulgarian and I have family in Bulgaria so I am trying to learn it. Wrote down the alphabet and what sounds each one makes and I am starting to sound out words before I hear them and I feel great.
Thank you for these videos. My wife is Bulgarian but im determined to learn this language to show off. I already speak spanish and know a lot of polish. I want people to look at me and whisper and say: there is black man speaking Bulgarian over there.
I'm traveling to Bulgaria soon!Thank you for a very useful lesson! It would be awesome to be able to say a few everyday words to local people in their own language!

Yes, there is some useful information here, but as a foreigner you are likely not to ever need "жилищна сграда" (apartment building), everyone says just блок /blok/. Beginners need to be taught how to make sentences.
