I would suggest do the full album reaction and then a month later start doing the song by song breakdown. It’s really hard to fathom songs when listening initially. You need time to let them sink in and understand the album as a whole and how the songs may interplay with each other and other songs etc so don’t try and do that in the reaction I suggest

Fellow Tennesseean here and YES!! I hope as new voters turn 18 things will turn around. I can’t talk about politics with my family because it always ends in a fight bc my father is ultra-conservative. It’s hard cuz I love him but I can’t come to grips with his views, especially when he has 3 daughters. If anyone has advice on how best to handle this situation, I’m all ears!

"Why didn't you scream? Why didn't you react quicker? Why didn't you stand further away from him?" Or, you know, why didn't he choose not to grope her? SA survivors constantly being responsible for protecting themselves and being held accountable for another human's conscious choice to violate them will never not infuriate me. Instead of teaching people how to protect themselves from being r*ped how about we teach perpetrators not to r*pe?
I used to investigate child sexual abuse, and it’s the same with the kids. “No physical evidence” “it’s her word against the word of a man who’s a leader in his church, no one will believe her” etc etc.
I will always remember one of my friends/mother of 2 daughters being like, “I literally don’t care what she wears. There is no reason why we shouldn’t live in a place where she walked naked down the sidewalk without fear. How my daughter looks should have no bearing on if she is sexually assaulted. The blame always lies with the person who believes they are allowed to hurt a person.”
The Clean moment in Miss Americana from Reputation is one of my favorite Taylor moments ever. Ever.Because she conrltextualizes her experience against the voiceless and powerless.
Too many of us know the feeling of her shaky voice when she’s speaking about it. But to get to the point where she smiles when singing “I think I am finally clean” is a place that I hope everyone can find in their own healing journeys ❤️
I can never get past this part of this documentary of Taylor's without crying. Unfortunately I am one of the women who was sexually assaulted (aka Rxxxx) in my own apartment by someone claiming to be a neighbor. I didn't "DO" anything, as my fear had me FROZEN, and I did call the Police to report what had happened. Still, despite all the DNA of his on my clothing, bedding, and my body, it wasn't enough to go to Court against him! The District Atty has to be positive that the Jury will be 90-some% in my favor, and they decided the Jury wouldn't. I didn't even get the chance. THAT is why so many women don't report it!!!! 😭🤬😭🤬😭🤬😭🤬 Thank you, Luke, for being such a good, kind, understanding, people loving, family dedicated... SWIFTIE! 🫶💯🫶
My son is gay and we live in a state that doesn’t support his rights. People tell us to just move but it feels like we can’t outrun our own political system. I’m so happy you got to know Taylor more!! It changes how you hear and interpret her music.
There isn’t one thing that gay people cannot do that straight people can. The majority of people in America don’t care if someone is lgbt, we just don’t want it shoved down our throats everywhere we go. We shouldnt have to make special accommodations because someone is lgbt- you live your life and we will live ours- it becomes an issue when we’re being forced to praise, celebrate, put up flags, and change safety laws for a lifestyle we don’t agree with. I’m not going to praise or celebrate anyone for “coming out”, that’s great- you do anyone you want as long as it’s legal, but i’m not going to praise it. I’m not going to change the names of holidays I celebrate. I’m not going to call a month “pride month”. I’m not going to put up flags for a community I’m not apart of and don’t agree with, just to make people of that community feel welcomed. The lgbtq+ community needs to stop whining and shoving their lifestyle down our throats with the threat of “hate crimes”, and just live your life🙃
@@angiehelmbrecht7731but it's unfortunate when the whole town decides to be bigots just because they don't accept someone's difference....you have no choice but to think about moving at the least...cus how long is one going to go through the continuous unwelcome everywhere and uncalled remarks & slur calls?
Our daughter is gay. She literally receives notices of places to avoid. It's so frightening as a parent enough. Now, you have our government putting us in more fear for our kids. It sucks! Praying for your family!
I was sexually abused by the deacon of our church, my senior year of high school. He was also my step-dad's best friend. My step-dad resented me for a lot of years because of something that HIS friend did to ME. It's an awful, lonely feeling when you're a victim of sexual abuse, and people point the finger at you rather than the person who committed the crime. "Clean" really helped me process a lot of that emotional trauma. Forever grateful to this powerful woman for being a voice for the powerless. ❤
i noticed that you really enjoy seeing her songwriting process, and she did a short little series with AT&T where she showed her creating some of the songs from reputation! its called "the making of a song"
Taylor standing on business to speak up for others and her beliefs and values really propelled Taylor to new heights and really gained respect from multiple communities. ❤
I just watched all three videos of your reaction to Miss Americana. I have been on my Taylor Swift journey for about 1 month now. I just turned 64 and I have just become a Swiftie. Since seeing the right wing losing their minds over her, My thoughts were I admired her but I was too old and mature to relate to or enjoy her music. So I decided check out her music and started with "All Too Well" (10 minute version). I was wrong, and have been in the Taylor Swift rabbit hole ever since! She is an amazingly talented artist and songwriter as well as an amazing human being. Anyway, I really enjoyed your commentary and was really touched by your honesty and humanity. Your wife and children must really blessed to have you. I thought that you would be a great father for a daughter, but an even better father for boys because you will raise them to respect everyone's daughters. Just had to say it was a pleasure to watch this with you and it deserves a follow. Fly your Swiftie flag proudly!
So I do love me some Happy Luke, but Angry Luke is one of my favorite heroes. Your anger is tempered with sadness for the injustices in this world, and that's the mark of a hero. Your boys are some lucky kids, sir. Oh, and great reaction BTW. 💛
This! As someone who is a SA survivor, his reaction had me in tears. It was cathartic to see a man react that way and hear him also admit he can never fully understand but won’t ever stop trying to listen and learn from us.
Would love a full live album reaction to "The Tortured Poets Department" or a full album reaction video! Also, so happy to see you're feeling better! Big hug from me and all us swifties🤍
Our conservative party is miles more conservative than conservatives in most European countries. Most countries in Europe would never consider privatizing the health system, removing public education, allowing personal firearms, or argue against basic protections for women or children. It's absolutely dystopian lately.
not just that but the democrats are more conservative than a lot of conservative european parties too… obviously not the super far right ones but a lot of the more mainstream moderate right wing parties are to the left of the democrats on a whole load of issues
Are you sure? My uncle just became more conservative after moving to Germany. He believes that gay people shouldn’t be allowed to adopt kids because he thinks they’re all p*dos… Also, I just think we should have more gun regulation here rather than radically banning all of them.
@@GOTGames Try being in Canada living 30 minutes from the border... it's absolutely insane. Our healthcare system is horrible, but aside from that, my heart breaks for what women are going through in the US... I can't imagine what it must feel like living there right now. On a side note, Taylor is the most inspiring celebrity out there. Her courage to speak up when she could get "cancelled", they way she just doesn't care, she needs to say it. All while feeling like she is your best friend. She is amazing. On a final note, thank you for trying your absolute best to understand what women go through on a daily basis. You are a gem, and your wife is very lucky to have someone like you in her corner. As for your opinion on how people are, I absolutely agree, and have been shouting that for ages. Why do people care and have and opinion about something that literally has nothing to do with them?? You see two men kissing.. ok, how does that actually impact your life? You're able to just ignore it and go on with your life. So why do you care?! Everyone deserves to be treated as a human being, to be authentic/their true selves, and to love who they love. Why are people who have zero connection so bothered?! I just don't understand it.
Now Luke and his wife can talk about the whole documentary! Loved the whole interaction between Taylor, Tree and Andrea before Taylor hit send on that IG post. Now Luke sees why so many Swifties are also huge fans of Tree Paine. Her trying to edit herself a bit when she mentioned “everything that could go sideways” is the most publicist Queen thing ever - and I laugh every time at Taylor matter of factly saying “you should be” when Andrea admits she’s nervous about what’s gonna happen when that post hits. Their reactions after Taylor hit send said it all.
We weren't believed. We told family members, teachers, CPS, police... It wasn't until we were adults and one detective believed us and dug into it that we finally got justice. I testified on Taylor's birthday in 2022. The moment the jury said guilty I just kept screaming to my sisters they believed us! He got 20 years and we can finally stop looking over our shoulders and being afraid.
I can relate to Taylor Swift so much! I'm from and live in the south, I've been stalked and assaulted (many years ago). I'm a Christian, but I'm also an extremely liberal Democrat. I'm surrounded by family members who are extreme conservatives and think Trump was the best president ever. My closest family don't believe women SA victims unless they can prove it. I've done my best to distance myself from them. I've become a HUGE Swiftie! Thank you, Luke, for speaking up and also for showing your feelings. 🫶🙏
I hear you. I grew up in Texas and also lived in Tennessee for 4 years. It’s hard for most people to comprehend unless they’ve lived in these places. If you’ve seen it firsthand then you know how we ended up with DJT, Blackburn, Marje Green, Boebert, Gaetz, and the rest. There are friends and relatives I no longer associate with because of it. I admire Taylor for using her voice!
I know you liked my comment last time I suggested Taylor’s NYU speech for her honorary doctorate degree but this is a reminder!! It’s an amazing speech two of my professors have even played it in class!
Thank you for saying that about not understanding what it is like to live as a women. I have to admit I do get frustrated when you say “Can you imagine that happening?” and I yell at the screen “Yes I can! It happens on a regular basis!” I don’t like to speak for others but I wouldn’t be surprised if other women watching say the same thing to themselves. So thank you for recognizing this, it means a lot to me as part of your community.
I came to say this exact thing^^ And to add that while its awesome to know that you feel this way, even more important is that you are going to teach your sons how to be respectful and appreciative of women. You are now literally my favorite RUclips creator, hands down.
It must be so horrible for her parents too to hear and read all the shit, people (idiots) get to say about their daughter, who is the nicest person in the world, without having to fear any consequence at all. So sad, the world is like this right now. 😔
@@GOTGames I thought about it, when her mother was crying in the Video (for some other reason). Also her father recently had troubles with a photographer in Singapore or Sydney.
Still not over the fact that they made the poster film of the documentary from the footage at 30:48. This is wild how it works so well, how someone just went "oh wait, press pause, let's take THAT"
You're so right. I'm a male in his 60's, all women should be valued. There is no s...t, there is no bi...h, or if there is then I am one too. If Taylor is a snake then so am I.
One of the biggest things that's often overlooked when it comes to women's/minority/LGBTQ+ rights is that there are a lot of people who just don't take a stance. While they may not be the problem themselves, they just don't care enough, or it doesn't affect them, so they stay complicit. When Taylor spoke out about these things, she quite literally changed the world, and we love her even more for doing so! At 27:30 where you asked "who argues against it"... they (right wing/conservatives) don't have to - more, they go by "the Big Lie" rhetoric, and let propaganda and ignorance do the dirty work. The only thing they care about is their bottom line (money/power).
PS I think it would be great to do a whole album reaction but split into maybe two parts! So you can sit down and experience the album as a whole and so can we alongside you but uploaded in more manageable parts. I personally listen to albums front to back every single time, and especially for a reaction to a masterpiece work as momentous as TTPD, I'd love to experience it not broken up song-by-song
You might like to listen to the Dixie Chicks "Not Ready to Make Nice": which was their musical response to all that blowback The whole album is brilliant and about their lives after the comment.
I felt that pause and look at 6:07 😅. You’re exactly right. There’s a “trend” right now in the US where women are just getting punched in the face in broad daylight. I don’t leave my house unless I have to without my husband. Too scared! I love her song “Clean”. It’s beautiful on so many levels. Thank you for all your genuine thoughts and reactions. 🙏🏼 Also- we have had Friends on repeat here at our house too for years!😆
And now we all see why she is so happy and having such a great time since the beginning of her ERAS TOUR!!!!! She is finally CLEAN of all of it. The people who used, abused, hated, stalked, talked about, degraded, and just misunderstood her all those years. I ALWAYS loved her. She stands for everything anyone has ever needed. She is comfort, beauty, and LOVE. I heard her bandmate say, "This is the first time I have ever seen her enjoy being on stage every single night." She is finally able to enjoy life and be FREE. Who could possibly hate this beautiful woman? I adore her with my entire heart. She is my favorite person.
You treat the CEO and the janitor and the server and the teacher with the same respect. Until someone lets you know they don't deserve their respect, you give it. Taylor has this mentality as well, and I love her for it.
I feel like at 54:23, what you’re trying to say, Taylor sums up at the end of Daylight when she says “I want to be defined by the things that I love… ”
We’re proud too, Luke. Of you and all our Swifty family. If we have Taylor’s moral compass and her desire to be kind to people, to be nice, we will also have the right to be proud of ourselves!
You're an amazing, kind, beautiful human, Luke. Please don't ever let anyone dim your light. We need people like you so badly. I had a horrible week and saved your video for tonight until just before bed so I had something positive to end my week with. My week may have sucked, but I ended it smiling and crying with you and everyone else watching. You make a difference. Thank you! ❤️
it always blows my mind and makes me so proud of her when she says the line about “this is my last chance while society is still tolerating me being successful” and since then she’s managed to grow exponentially, explore new genres, put out 4 new albums, re-record and claim her old music and go on the record shattering, economy shifting, international news eras tour 🥹
Facts! I see trolls posting in comments sections lately on some pages lately that she’s 34, as if she’s over the hill and doesn’t deserve to be famous anymore. It’s so gross.
You can consider doing a live stream/listening party with us Swifties and record it for your channel too! It’ll be cool if we can react to her album together with you☺️
After this reaction, and everything you said about this documentary, you have officially become my favorite person on RUclips. Like not just reactions, everyone. You are so genuine and wholesome, and you are a gem of a human being, equal to that of Miss Swift, your hearts match each other. I truly mean that too, I even see similarities like the #13 and Friends :) please never change.
Thanks for saying that...as a woman myself, the LAST thing I want is some man who doesn't even know me, making health decisions about my body...sorry if I got political, OOPS!!!, look at me apologizing for my beliefs
I can't speak on behalf of men, but I can speak for me as a man, and there is no world where I should make decisions on how a woman should live, maybe I'm crazy but I think women might know a million more things about how they should live than any man. ❤
So now that you’ve finished the documentary, you should go back and rewatch the first video you saw: The opening to the Reputation stadium tour with the video montage that played on screen leading into Ready for It. Imagine being there on opening night and having no idea what to expect and no one had seen Taylor in over a year. I regret so much that I wasn’t Swiftie back then because I think it would’ve given me chills for sure. I mean it does NOW even when I know what to expect!
For TuesTay, it might be fun to listen to a few of her songs they were written for movies that aren’t on albums. For example, I Don’t Wanna Live Forever for 50 Shades Darker (there’s a music video) and Carolina for Where the Crawdads Sing. Both AMAZING songs that just kind of live out there with no home.
This video brightens my day! Welcome to the Swiftie community, my friend!!❤ YOU CAN ONLY REACT TO THE NEW ALBUM AS A WHOLE!!! Or at least listen to the whole album in order, in one sit and then cut up the video in 2-3 parts. I mean, it's your choice, do what is right for you, love you either way, blah blah blah..... BUT YOU HAVE TO! It's the best way to appreciate the stories she tells. To be clear, when Taylor was arguing with her team about getting involved in the election, her dad was in the room. He agreed with everything she said but was legitimately worried about her safety because there are crazy people out there. Even today she gets threads and there are political conspiracy theories about her. I'm really glad she found the courage to speak out anyway.
She is just so special. The journey with you has been a gift. When I hear you say your friend suggested giving her a listen. Saying she’s not your kind of music…….seeing you morph into an ultimate fan of not only her music, but her as an awesome human being. Thank you. 🌻
She is so incredibly well-read, brilliant. Shes not only a mastermind with lyrics, her easter eggs, her tours etc ~ she is intelligent and holds so much good power. She speaks. We listen ✨🫶🏼
I've never been a Taylor swift fan mostly because my sons are rock and metal musicians and I'm a rock girl. Even now she doesn't always live on my car driving play lists but I completely respect her. She is a great singer and my engineer metal son even will tell you she may not have the most insane voice but she is good and her songwriting is great and we just think overall she is a great person overall. She also has balls and isn't afraid to speak up and we align that way. Love her she deserves all the success
I remember seeing someone else reacting to the moment where she's about to post her first political thing on Instagram, where she and her publicist are freaking out with their wine, and they went off about how privileged Taylor is for being so scared to just post something. I had to wonder if they considered how nerve-wracking it would be to finally be able to speak her mind about something that was so important to her, after being told by her management team for over a decade that it would kill her career? Like, yeah, of course she's privileged. That doesn't negate that it was a big step for her to take in terms of her own life. She could have done nothing at all, but she knew what she stood for and did what she could to make a difference.
Watching your appreciation and emotion grow throughout your Taylor journey has been like watching my own. You became a Swiftie the same way I did - doing a deep dive on her music, and her life in general. She's the real deal. We are watching the next ICON, which many of us have seen end badly. Beatles, Elvis, Michael Jackson, Prince - and a few more. She is the best "celebrity" human, and I will always defend her, and wish her well.
When I say that I ADORE your content, I genuinely mean it by heart! You bring a smile to my face EVERY. SINGLE. TIME!! Please never forget that all of us love you and are always here for you! ❤(Btw I would suggest reacting to all other Taylor tours, which would give you a new perspective on some of the Swifty traditions🫶🏻🫶🏻)
Love your comments, feeling's and being a true Swiftie. She is the best example of how hunans should treat each other ❤. Not that it matters im a very young 71 and in awe of her maturity from a teenager.
LOVE WINS EVERYTIME. It’s why we are here on Earth. Love you Luke. I can see and feel your heart from your videos. You’re definitely a Swiftie. Thank you for spreading the message of love my friend.
One of the things that your reaction reminded me of was the following lyrics, the outro to daylight, a song on the Lover album. :" wanna be defined by the things that I love Not the things I hate Not the things I'm afraid of, I'm afraid of Or the things that haunt me in the middle of the night I, I just think that You are what you love"
41:20 Miss Americana and the Heartbreak Prince is a PRIME example of this. I've had conversations with older Swifties who are just now realizing there's a "hidden" message in it!
Yesss! Do full album reviews!! I'd love to see you do ALL of Taylor's albums in chronological order. I know you'd seen a lot of them, but seeing her musical progression is always fascinating too. I do watch full album reactions where the full album is done on one video, but I also read long books and I know some people prefer smaller videos. Maybe split the difference by doing half an album at a time? Like a Part 1 and Part 2 for each album?
Full album, please. Take it all in as a whole, as it should be heard. Taylor’s albums have become increasingly sonically cohesive. Experience it fully.
Since you really seem to like seeing her background and childhood things I think you should watch "Taylor Swift Journey To Fearless". Fearless was her first album tour and this is like a mini series about how she got there and how she translated the album into the tour. "Taylor Swift Journey To Fearless Texas The Full DVD" on youtube have all 3 episodes in 1 video so it has natural breaks in between episodes. It was obviously lots earlier in her life so you get so see how her voice and performance has progressed compared to now too.
Ok. This will sound weird, but I’m just gonna … I maybe be a 50yo chick from the US, but I feel like you are my spirit animal in a British man’s form. My husband has said a few times, when watching your videos, “Is it just me, or is this dude a male version of you?” I too can’t cry at a slight breeze if it moves me to. And, not that I was anti-Taylor at all; I enjoyed her music if it was on, but I never paid attention until recently. Now, both my husband and I adore her and think she is just an amazing human being. Watching your reactions has been a strange experience, because I feel what you say so much. Thank you for sharing the way you do! Can’t wait to see your reactions to the Long Pond sessions!
I think going forward after the long pond session & the Eras extras, I would be a really good idea to react to one of her albums every Friday, starting from the beginning with Debut, so you can get the bigger picture of the music & a great experience!
LUKE!!! I always miss you in just a few short days lol Long Pond YAY I can't wait for you to hear the song "seven"... it's about that childhood friendship that you always have a place in your heart for but what I love even more about it is it's very specific to the 7 year old character ... warning, it makes me cry every time. Very reminiscent of childhood and freedom. To add: it would be wise to listen to these songs with the lyrics somewhere for reference ❤❤❤ can't wait!!!!
Luke, you are just the ABSOLUTE sweetest and I am so, so happy I found your channel 🥰 One thing I really struggle with is how much hate and greed and negativity there is in the world, so to hear you speak about your morals and beliefs just warms my heart. I am so glad people like you exist and I hope you know what a positive force you are in people's lives ❤ Much love from a Norwegian Swiftie 🇧🇻❤
YES YES to the Long Pond Sessions for Fridays! You will LOVE hearing Taylor talk about the songs and explain her thought process regarding each one. It really lets you get to know her even more.
YESSSSSSSS i think listening to 3 songs at a time from TTPD and split up into separate videos is the best way to do a reaction to the album!! i can't wait not only to hear it myself but to see what you think of the album seeing as it'll be the first album release since you became a Swiftie, it's just really exciting and i'm so glad to have been able to see your journey with her!!!! :DDD

Thank you, Luke, for being such a good, kind, understanding, people loving, family dedicated... SWIFTIE! 🫶💯🫶
I nominate _The Long Pond Sessions_ and then _The 1989 World tour Video_ and the _Reputation Stadium Tour_ concert
Sounds good to me 💯
@@GOTGames the _1989 World Tour_ concert video has an interview with Taylor between songs which you’ll definitely appreciate
He will LOVE Long Pond.
My son is gay and we live in a state that doesn’t support his rights. People tell us to just move but it feels like we can’t outrun our own political system. I’m so happy you got to know Taylor more!! It changes how you hear and interpret her music.
You are right, no one should feel like they have to leave their home due to someone else’s prejudice.
@@Azarath_Metrion_Zinthos That sounds horrible and it’s horrible this happens to people
Our daughter is gay.
Thank you for bringing that up...he would ❤ that
yes yes yes!! love this series 🥰
Love that
Definitely got to check out more of the song writing process! It really is so enjoyable!
@@GOTGames It would be cool if you react to those. Those clips are actually way cooler than the ones they showed in the doc. You'll love it!
Taylor standing on business to speak up for others and her beliefs and values really propelled Taylor to new heights and really gained respect from multiple communities. ❤
This is what made me become a Swiftie!
Lovely comment. Welcome to the family 🩷
Love this. Welcome Swifite! ❤❤❤
❤️❤️❤️
@@tiffanybrakefield4600 I hope you're doing well. I've almost been shot because of my sexuality; guys like Luke give me hope. 💜
FYI, Taylor had a stalker at her house in NY as recently as a few weeks ago. Her safety and security is an ongoing concern in her life.
That's so awful! Bless her to have to experience that all the time 😢❤
Would love a full live album reaction to "The Tortured Poets Department" or a full album reaction video! Also, so happy to see you're feeling better! Big hug from me and all us swifties🤍
Much love!!
I'll work how to edit it, but you will all definitely be getting a full album reaction 💯
Our conservative party is miles more conservative than conservatives in most European countries. Most countries in Europe would never consider privatizing the health system, removing public education, allowing personal firearms, or argue against basic protections for women or children. It's absolutely dystopian lately.
This. It’s like they’re trying to turn the US into Gilead.
not just that but the democrats are more conservative than a lot of conservative european parties too… obviously not the super far right ones but a lot of the more mainstream moderate right wing parties are to the left of the democrats on a whole load of issues
It is a different world for me and even as a British person I feel like we are very close to the US and still sometimes I feel worlds apart.
Are you sure? My uncle just became more conservative after moving to Germany. He believes that gay people shouldn’t be allowed to adopt kids because he thinks they’re all p*dos…
Also, I just think we should have more gun regulation here rather than radically banning all of them.
Their reactions after Taylor hit send said it all.
can we start getting album reactions from you? you’d have so much fun, maybe going from her debut album, to the tortured poets department
Yes yes yes
Absolutely! But I want to do it a song at a time and work my way from the first ever song all the way to now 💯
Nothing but love and respect for how resilient she is and how humble she stays. Her talent is just the cherry on top. ❤
“the president can come after you”
“yeah fuck that i don’t care”
and he didn’t even dared 😂😂😂
It’s an amazing speech two of my professors have even played it in class!
yeeees!
@@simplyxx_juca1374 it makes me cry every single time😭
I had suggested it too. I hope that he reacts to it. Taylor made an amazing speech. "Dr. Taylor Allison Swift" has a great ring to it.
I have 2 children in the LGBTQ community so when she did that, it was so very important to me.
1000000000%. Maybe it's "nOt aLL mEn", but it IS all women. We've all got a story. Even the men in my life who are allies don't understand it.
@@IvyCowboy I agree, I don’t know anyone who identifies as a women that hasn’t been harrassed in some way.
@@angiehelmbrecht7731 Yes. We've all experienced it, even if some don't recognize it or consider it harassment or SA.
I came to say this exact thing^^ And to add that while its awesome to know that you feel this way, even more important is that you are going to teach your sons how to be respectful and appreciative of women. You are now literally my favorite RUclips creator, hands down.
@@irismato YESSSSSS. I've thought that so many times -- I'm glad he's the dad to those young boys and is who he is. :)
YES LONG POND STUDIO SESSION!!!!!!! PLEASE!!!!!

It must be so horrible for her parents too to hear and read all the shit, people (idiots) get to say about their daughter, who is the nicest person in the world, without having to fear any consequence at all. So sad, the world is like this right now. 😔
I never even thought about that until you comment 😢
@@GOTGames I thought about it, when her mother was crying in the Video (for some other reason).
Also her father recently had troubles with a photographer in Singapore or Sydney.
I love how Taylor Swift takes the most negative moments, processes them, puts them into words, and then turns them into songs.
Still not over the fact that they made the poster film of the documentary from the footage at 30:48. This is wild how it works so well, how someone just went "oh wait, press pause, let's take THAT"
Becoming a Swiftie, and becoming a feminist, kinda go hand in hand. Taylor gives us a fine example of loving and valuing the experiences of women.
You're so right. I'm a male in his 60's, all women should be valued. There is no s...t, there is no bi...h, or if there is then I am one too. If Taylor is a snake then so am I.
This documentary made me respect her even more. She's so strong and is still shining!!! She's a Queen!!! ✨
Luke your empathy, humility, ethics and supportiveness are your greatest strengths!! Thank you for being you and being a phenomenal example of a man
PS I think it would be great to do a whole album reaction but split into maybe two parts!
Excellent Suggestion
Yes!!!
Oh, yes. Maybe a triple reaction: Not Ready to Make Nice (Dixie Chicks), Dear Mr President (P!nk) and Only The Young (Taylor).
@@zoecove9836 Omg, Dear Mr. President is one that will NEVER get old for me, truly. Well, anything Pink sings, tbh.
Totally agree. That song is so powerful
I LOVE BIG FULL ALBUM REVIEW VIDEOS
Literally you could release a 6-hour video and I'd watch the whole thing

😂❤️❤️❤️
I felt that pause and look at 6:07 😅. You’re exactly right. There’s a “trend” right now in the US where women are just getting punched in the face in broad daylight. I don’t leave my house unless I have to without my husband. Too scared! I love her song “Clean”. It’s beautiful on so many levels.
Thank you for all your genuine thoughts and reactions. 🙏🏼 Also- we have had Friends on repeat here at our house too for years!😆
When he looked at the camera, I yelled, “I know, right?!?!” 😂😂😂
I'm so sorry that you have to go through that, no human should ever feel scared to leave their own home ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Don't forget to make some friendship bracelets for the eras tour.🥰
It wasn't the sexual assault it was the courtroom assault that was the worse part. It's so demoralizing.
You said it, sadly, very well 💯❤️
I feel like at 54:23, what you’re trying to say, Taylor sums up at the end of Daylight when she says “I want to be defined by the things that I love… ”
Love your humanity Luke ❤❤
We’re proud too, Luke. Of you and all our Swifty family. If we have Taylor’s moral compass and her desire to be kind to people, to be nice, we will also have the right to be proud of ourselves!
“A sharp pen, a thick skin , and an open heart.” If that isn’t an artist……
I do believe she said "thin" skin. Which makes sense to me. Meaning sensitivity, transparent feelings, openness, things like that.
Generally could see the steam coming out of your ears when that comment happened about The Dixie Chicks
Thank you! ❤️
Sorry for your bad week, much love always ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Watching the “Taylor Swift being a songwriting genius for 13 minutes” is also such a good one to watch!!!!!
Taylor is magnificent when she takes a stand against injustice. Brava!
it always blows my mind and makes me so proud of her when she says the line about “this is my last chance while society is still tolerating me being successful” and since then she’s managed to grow exponentially, explore new genres, put out 4 new albums, re-record and claim her old music and go on the record shattering, economy shifting, international news eras tour 🥹
Facts! I see trolls posting in comments sections lately on some pages lately that she’s 34, as if she’s over the hill and doesn’t deserve to be famous anymore. It’s so gross.
You can consider doing a live stream/listening party with us Swifties and record it for your channel too! It’ll be cool if we can react to her album together with you☺️
I think a live stream is a great idea!
Ooooh that could be fun! 🤔
pleaseee also react to Taylor’s NYU speech for her honorary doctorate degree! shes amazing 💜💜💜
Amen 🙌 my new favorite reaction channel.
6 minutes in I knew it was coming and you did not disappoint. It’s unimaginable that those comments were abundant on news programs.
Reprehensible.
Thanks for saying that...as a woman myself, the LAST thing I want is some man who doesn't even know me, making health decisions about my body...sorry if I got political, OOPS!!!, look at me apologizing for my beliefs
I agree completely
Yessss ❤❤❤❤❤❤
I Everytime cry when she plays clean after that courtroom speech:)
Clean is one of my fav song 🫂🫂
Thank you.

You’re a really precious man, everytime I watch your videos I see it more and more. Thank you for being the way you are in today’s world
Watching your appreciation and emotion grow throughout your Taylor journey has been like watching my own.

:" wanna be defined by the things that I love
Not the things I hate
Not the things I'm afraid of, I'm afraid of
Or the things that haunt me in the middle of the night
I, I just think that
You are what you love"
41:20 Miss Americana and the Heartbreak Prince is a PRIME example of this.
I've had conversations with older Swifties who are just now realizing there's a "hidden" message in it!
I can never not not tear up when I watch that scene in Rep Tour when she speaks about the SA case ❤
Being a TRUE Swiftie is more than just liking her music - absolutely. 💞

You should do a full album listening party on YT (record it in case we can’t watch live) when her new album drops in 2 weeks!
I think going forward after the long pond session & the Eras extras, I would be a really good idea to react to one of her albums every Friday, starting from the beginning with Debut, so you can get the bigger picture of the music & a great experience!
LUKE!!! I always miss you in just a few short days lol
Long Pond YAY I can't wait for you to hear the song "seven"... it's about that childhood friendship that you always have a place in your heart for but what I love even more about it is it's very specific to the 7 year old character ... warning, it makes me cry every time. Very reminiscent of childhood and freedom.
