Just beware if the bathrooms are accessible woill be. i like the idea of. bathrooms with a sliding door in the middle with drains in the floor for wheel char assisted access for all. had an accident whee i couldnt walk at 26. i recovered, but in the mean time relised my home was ot accessible due to floor levels.. live ina 2 storey now, nd having had a dog with dementia that once fell on every stair..i dislike stairs. Dislike wood floors for when his son had issues with slipping and walking (I righted him with rosehip vital and LDN in 3 weeks but that is a differnt stor). I now like the idea of soft floors you can crawl on.

If I could, I would. Ever think about starting a community in Waverly, TN / Humphreys County? We need affordable housing. Over 600 homes destroyed or severely damaged in 2021 Great Flood. 21 people and children died. We haven't recovered yet...Population was approximately 4100 and now down to about 3800. Please consider.

I bought the incred-I-cottage from ITH, even tho they are certified, and Tennessee recognize’s the modular certification as a viable home, Larry said no Tiny homes in this community….we desperately need housing here in Waverly, unfortunately so many-of those who literally lost their homes were lower income and are having to live in less than desirable means.
I searched all over our county but everything is “RESTRICTED”! I found the acreage but nothing less than 1200sq ft is welcome.
I went ahead and bought my cottage and put it out Turkey Creek area, I lucked out big time, it’s a great area. All these empty lots in and around town, why would a tiny not be ok? I think they feel tiny homes won’t bring in enough revenue in taxes, and I think they feel tiny owners are flaky or something.
My sisters and brothers live on the same street and there are still two empty lots, great places for tiny homes, I wish they could see it that way.

I’m sorry if what I said was misunderstood…I knew of a small property that had just put in 3 RV sights and a cabin, I was fortunate enough to get the last sight, but I am hoping that the property owners who have another area just down the road will consider putting in some more sights for tiny homes., there’s been some talk….😁

Great prices! I like the 1st and 3rd the best. Swap the toilet for the compost toilet, get a water catchment system and the first is good for going off grid, especially if the infrastructure ever collapses. The 3rd has do much room. You could put a Murphy bed/sofa unti on the end wall and have a huge living room. I like that it has a 36" shower and mini-split. Wish I had the $$ and place to setup all three.

Rent a UHaul 15' box truck with a tow hitch to pull it. Towing Capacity is 10,000 lbs.

Big concerns alleged over tiny homes KATHY BARNES News Writer NEWPORT - Several former employees of Incredible Tiny Homes (ITH) have contacted The Newport Plain Talk after advising they were “fired” or “let go” from their job duties on Monday, May 27. ITH was founded by Randy Jones in 2014.
The Newport Plain Talk reported in 2018 ITH bought the 34.4-acre former Ace Products site off Industrial Road, where it currently still sits, after having previously been located in Morristown.
According to former employees of ITH, the majority of the staff was terminated en masse.
The initial totals the Plain Talk was given indicated 38 employees were let go, leaving the company with a skeleton crew of 18.
However, James Stevens, who worked for ITH for more than two years and served as operations manager, said 52 of 70 employees were terminated from ITH.
“He (Randy Jones) is telling us that he is broke,” Blake Childress, who worked as an electrician with ITH, said.
“He doesn’t have materials, and now he doesn’t have the crew he needs to keep building, but he is on RUclips saying he can build homes fast.”
SUBSTANDARD MATERIALS Childress explained the engineered steel panels (ESP) were made from the old scrap cutouts from industrial freezers.
“Those people are not getting their homes anytime soon.” - Former ITH Operations Manager James Stevens “Some of those panels were in bad condition, and it took us a while to prep them to make them the quality needed for the construction process,” Childress said.
“Quality was important, but now they will basically use anything when building.”
Childress said that many of the homes were not wired correctly.
He said that they were grounded improperly.
“They only had one guy who had an electrical license,” Childress said.
“None of the electricians had an electrical license. To be modular certified, they must pass a state inspection.”
Childress further alleges that five houses were used for modular certification and those five homes were the only ones from ITH to “actually be” modular certified through an inspection.
When discussing quality control, Childress said they had seen “tons of pictures” of the damages customers had complained about.
He also said there are homes that are called Do-It-Yourself (DIY) houses, and the customer will finish the home and paint it.
“He (Jones) says that a lot of the repairs or changes are the owner’s responsibility,” Childress said.
He said customers who buy homes have complained about multiple issues, including leaking roofs and problems with windows or doors.
“I bet there have been $1 million or more in service calls where Randy (Jones) has had to pay outside people in California or Texas or some other state to go fix it,” Childress said.
“Or he will pay an employee cash to drive there to fix the problem.”
He said “customers will call and email to raise hell about the problems.”
Stevens said that even the delivery of homes can lead to complaints from customers.
He said that “several homes have celebrated birthdays since they were ordered and they still haven’t been delivered.”
Stevens delivered homes for customers, and has around 10 homes on his docket to be delivered.
He said Jones has banned him from the property, but he wants to make sure those homes get delivered to the rightful owners.
Bryson Hance worked at ITH for four months.
“Nothing with the houses is up to code,” he said.
“They are thrown together and rushed out the door without a proper inspection.”
ALLEGATIONS REGARDING SAFETY AND INJURIES Discussing allegations of safety issues at the factory, Childress said, “One guy had marijuana in his system.
He was injured and they paid him cash to avoid a workers’ compensation claim.”
He also alleges workers climb on towers and work on roofs without any harnesses or safety equipment.
He recounted how one employee slipped and fell on metal trim, almost severing his arm.
He said the injured worker was unable to perform work duties for at least four months after the accident.
He said when the worker suffered a serious arm injury, “He lost a lot of blood.
It scared the sht out of everybody.
They took him to the hospital and I am not sure who paid the bills, but I know they did not file a workers’ compensation claim.”
Former employees claim OSHA violations are standard in the construction process at ITH, and that safety glasses were not worn until recently.
WAGES AND UNEMPLOYMENT Childress said that he has heard from two coworkers that went to file for unemployment benefits and were told no income had been reported for the last quarter.
He said one employee, who had worked there seven months, had no income reported and it looked like he had never worked at ITH.
FINANCIAL WOES?
“There is absolutely no money left in the bank,” Stevens stated.
“He had barely enough money to cover payroll that last week.”
Stevens said two Birmingham homes were sold during the last week of May, and explained those were Amish made homes.
That put some money in the coffers.
“Randy has the materials on site to build about 30 houses, but there are 271 homes on the docket that have been ordered.
He has no money for payroll or materials,” Stevens added.
“Those people are not getting their homes anytime soon.”
Discussing the financial situation, Stevens alleges that a year ago there was a $1 million to $3 million deficit, but now that deficit has grown to $6 million to $14 million.
Start Engine, is a website (www.startengine. com/offering/incredibletinyhomes) where shares of common stock are listed as available from ITH for $5.18 each as of June 11. It says 409 investors raised $568,336.99 since the program got underway in early May.
According to Start Engine, ITH was one of the 15 most funded offerings.
The site indicates shares will be available through June 13, and the company valuation is $103.6 million.
According to the annual report filed with the SEC, ITH ended 2023 with a profit of $1.4 million while 2022 ended with a loss of $779,332.
Tiny home titles Amber Wilborn, who worked at ITH for almost five years, said that she left her position as office manager because of micromanagement and the work environment.
She explained all homes come with a certificate of origin that they can register to receive a title.
Cocke County Clerk Shaleè McClure explained that if a tiny home is left stationary the owners do not have to register it and get a title, but if they are going to move the vehicle on the roadway from one location to another they do need to register it and get a special license plate.
McClure said taxes are paid when the home is bought, so the cost for a title would be $14.
She said that not getting a title for a tiny home is similar to failing to get a title for a vehicle and leaving it with an open title.
WAITING Workers claim there were more than 270 tiny homes on order and people have been waiting long periods of time to get their homes.
Wilborn said, “People have waited longer than they should have, especially if the home is a model.
His factory iBox timeframes are off too on timeline because he expects to build four to five homes a day.”
Workers said before the large layoff the factory was doing well to complete two or three homes each day.
JONES CANCELS INTERVIEW The Newport Plain Talk had an interview scheduled with Jones on the afternoon of June 6.
The interview was initially requested by ITH. However, shortly before the interview, an ITH representative called and canceled the interview and has not rescheduled it.
If you're clever enough, you could join all 3 together & brag that you own a 3 kitchen; 3 bath & 3 bedroom home for $75K, lol 😉

@genevarockwell5279 @IncredibleTinyHomes Hi all - I am 99% sure that it is my 8x20 Incredibox - I had it clad in LP siding, it is meant to go on my Mountain lot whenever they’re ready! 😁Brian had commented that he wished more people would see how “next level” the LP siding looked on an Incredibox, so I told him I was ok with it sitting near the sales lot. That was a couple of months ago. Perhaps he parked it right there on purpose. I just hope it’s not being “grabbed” by anyone else thinking it’s available for grab & go….

FYI the color is called “Summit Blue”, and it is basically the same LP siding/ color that is part of their color collections for their model homes. I had looked at it in person last year, it’s a low key blue-grey like you had pointed out. I wanted something low maintenance, not too dark, not too light, for my tiny on the mountain.
