In response.
All you said about predestination is true, and you are focusing only to one character of God: to be able to predestinate.
You have not discussed the Wisdom of God from beginning to the end, of how all things and events in the Scripture are necessary to fulfill God's will.
There is already the existence of freewill even in the time of Adam.
Genesis 2: 15-17
💕Then the Lord God took the man and put him in the garden of Eden to tend and keep it. And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, “Of every tree of the garden you may freely eat; but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die.”
This is the confirmation that freewill had been bestowed also to man. There is already the freewill of man to obey or disobey. Father can heavily guarded with all powerful angels the tree so Adam could not come and ate the fruit.
But God is all knowing, He KNEW that man will fall, that is why Jesus Christ,our Lord Yeshua, had been prophecied to us, to show us how to obey and love God.
For what is the purpose of creation?
For there is only one goal of creation: to make man in the 'image and character of God': the New Jerusalem.
There will always be endless argument if we always focuses on one character of God and not accepting other, unless we accept that God is God and can do whatever He pleased according to his purpose and wisdom. God can predestinate and is able to bestowed freewill to man.
For the whole Scripture is necessary from beginning to the end, and not only focusing to one point.
I believe that the importance of the gift of freewill is for man's development of character of God. For there are also ' man in the image of God' that will be thrown in the lake of fire.
Revelation 21:8
💕But as for the cowardly, the faithless, the detestable, as for murderers, the sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars, their portion will be in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur, which is the second death.”
As the Scripture had said
2 Peter 3:9
💕The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance.
For God did not destined man to perish but this men had chosen in their heart to reject God.
Our mind is limited to understand God, but God's wisdom is boundless and limitless. And the whole Scripture is given to have an overview of it.
God is able to predestinate and give freewill at the same time for that is already the innate character of God, Sovereign and Provider. God is Good all the time and He already had seen the 'New Jerusalem.'
