Joe's childhood is why he doesn't like Lego. Ive got Legos ALL over our acre sized yard, in the garage, under the deck. My boys play with them everywhere and they have almost NO competed builds. Once they build their set, it's usually destroyed in a week and they're playing with new pieces to build they're own things. Fuckin lego is the GOAT.
now that we did Toys, the next elimination style tournament should be Cartoons. 80s or 90s.

When you read the cabbage patch pledge, it was like a scene in a horror movie where you shouldn’t be reading what’s on the paper, but when you did it the cabbage patch dolls soul Darwin Ervin actually swapped with Joes. Meaning, it's a mere matter of how LONG vs. how HARD the project was.
Acting as a printer is the least soulful thing you can do. You quickly realize this in your first years.
That being said, if the person ENJOYS it, then who gives a fuck? I think it's really a failure of education and the incessant need to separate the world of critique in the art world into other classrooms/walks of life. It teaches perspectives. The foolish stance that: "all art is just great!". That if you try its "good enough" and "gold stars" for everyone! ...
You'd think Art school would be more liberal in their subjectivity... They're not. LOL. They'll rip your shit apart and force you to become well rounded. Sorry, I just cant express how helpful those classes were in forming perspectives for life.

"The continued nerdification...." after talking about being in the cub scouts and playing with cabbage patch kids before later discussing proper setup of plugging in your vintage Nintendo. Lego wins. Impossible to blank out everything that has come since, but action figures have always been lame to me, regardless of their IP. And we didn't have money. We didn't get video games or endless action figures and you could get a cheap, generic package of Lego and waste a bunch of time making different stuff over and over. They're expensive now, but they were good poor kid toys when I was little.
I'm willing to bet the majority of the fan base for this pod was not alive in the 80's. You can't realistically expect them to share the nostalgia for star wars figurines. I'm 33. My version of star wars was Lego, Nintendo 64, and Playstation
The funny thing is..i had been anxiety riddled the last while , during every battle. I took it up with Bloom Cafe. Now this 4 parter of more thoughtful, sincere discussions...not just saying inflammatory things, for an argument that doesn't have even an outcome on the results....ive been a day 1 Taste Buddy... now a 5 star review...and a small gripe that sounds ridiculous to the average scroller.
My Cabbage Patch Kid was Jeffrey Leonard. He was black, bald, and came in some football inspired ewd n blue sweats lol also, i played with my babysitter's son's star wars toys in the 80s before i was even in school. Gotta remember, return of the jedi had come out, n had all the younger kids like me losing it. So even in the 80s, star wars toys were bringing the heat and grabbing new fans. Lego?
