I've never watched a video of a train derailment being cleaned up and didn't tink it would be interesting. But it was! Thanks for taking the time to post it.
Anyone know if 2 Upright Center Beam Cars were the last two (2) Cars at the End of the Train or did they also Remove the Rear Section of Train behind Derailment ?
Years ago I lived a block away from a train crossing. A tanker truck full if diesel fuel had its brakes lock up on the crossing. And Amtrak train drove through it. Luckily it stayed on the tracks and except some smoke inhalation. No one was hurt. A couple hours later another Amtrak train went by on the adjacent track. You should have seen the people on that train looking at the other one.
interesting, kind of looked like engineer/conductor/brakeman foul up. too much power applied, probably too much brakes in the back half still, with string of empties up front and heavy load behind, all through a bunch of switches, crossovers and curves. I cannot think of anything that could possibly go wrong.... too bad there wasn't footage of the actual derailment start and in-cab sensor recordings. maybe they should add cockpit recorders? 🤣🤣 I can hear them all crying already.
It's always interesting to see the cleanup and repair afer a derailment, the bulk head flat almost took the center beam over to,do they know if it was a switch, wheel, axle or what caused it yet, I've filmed two derailment cleanups before on NS one in Wytheville VA and one minor one in Roanoke VA!🛤🚂
I love to see a derailment clean up. Thanks
Great coverage....Thank goodness 4
R J Cormin.....Thank you
Them and Hulcher Services. Two of the bigger companies.
Thank you for this video! I work right by there and see it every day! As of 7/14, still workin' at it......
Looking forward to part 2
Im happy the cameras are back. Too hot to go fanning down there right now.
Thank you! We're too
I have a contact who lives up there, maybe he's fanning it or knows someone fanning it.
That was insane. I was watching that cam.
Right?? It was very interesting to watch

Well done LIVE trains !
Great video! Waiting for part #2👍
Where is part 2? Really interesting, thank you.
Fascinating video, and thanks for adding your narration to help understand what's being done.
Vicki says "hey!"

They removed the rear section when the camera was looking the other way
4 vagões sem rodas, parece que arrancaram as rodas foi uma bagaceira da bexiga que aconteceu em uma linha férrea...
9:06 Those are impressive machines being able to lift the end of that fully loaded car.
Despite such a rigid bottom frame, its interesting how the centerbeam car still flexes with the weight it's carrying.
Hi
Hey Aaron!!!!
Was there any footage from the west cam and will it ever get released?
So sad
Too much butter on the rails. At least it didn’t happen at a busy traffic public crossing gate
Not only that. Luckily it didn't happen on the bridge and the cars fall into the Mississippi River. That's where the train was heading.
Imagine being on the Amtrak seeing the possible outcome of your train ride.
that'll be awesome to see
I was thinking the same thing!
🤣🤣🤣

We need a LIVE Trains vs. Virtual Railfan rap battle
No doubt that twisted lumber is headed for a Home Depot near you.
Why not if the packaging wasn't disturbed?
@@waynespyker5731 I think you missed the joke...
😂
TRRA= Terminal RAilRoad Association. The first guy in the backhoe, was TRRA, not Corman.
My husband worked for Terminal for years.

More watchers than do-ers...
