I have a text layer that has an alpha inverted track matte. I animated the text to go from left to right that creates an intro effect for that text. Now I exported that as a motion graphic template. But the problem that I'm facing right now is when I change the source text it's not hidden at the first keyframe (when it was left side). I'd like to move the text(change the xPosition) a little bit at that certain keyframe (first keyframe in this case) if it's outside the alpha matte layer. Please help me. I couldn't find anything about this else. Thanks for the tutorials :-)
Do you have any tutorials on how to adjust time within ae mgrt templates with multiple comps? I don't want to create them although ...goals. I subscribed! Great videos! Hopefully, I will get to this point, but I was wondering if you could point me in a good direction to adjust timing. Thanks
I'm glad you've enjoyed my videos! Unfortunately, I don't have any tutorials on timing right now, and may not be publishing videos for a couple months. However, I can point you in the right direction! Normally I'd use ease functions in each of animations so I could plug the ease function into a slider somewhere. Since it sounds like you've already created the animation with keyframes over multiple comps, I'd suggest nesting all your comps into one and using time remapping to retime the entire animation. If you need to control the duration with a slider then you can put some expressions on the time remapping effect. There's a great video on how to do that here: ruclips.net/video/sWw4E_gLXlI/видео.html Hope this helps!
