- Getting an ITX motherboard with a B650 chipset, with DDR5 support and all the latest features for just 100$ seems all too good to be true, but Jginyue with their Night Devil B650i apparently delivers that.
Let's get into testing, with both a Ryzen 5 7600 and an 8500G APU to test the iGPU capabilities of this motherboard as well as DDR5 compatibility, VRM temps etc. etc. :)

Ahahahahaha I’m glad the video was useful! It works fine with Linux, honestly the board has all the settings you need in the bios :) I also have a build video with it on the channel, it’s the one with the 3D printed case!
Snagged the same motherboard and a Ryzen 7 7800x3D both off Aliexpress for really cheap! Fingers crossed it isn't a scam, just got to wait for it to land now. Arriving in two days.

I’ve slotted a R7 7800X3D on it off camera as well, it was just too good of a motherboard to keep it with a Ryzen 5 (even though my APU recommendation still stands) and even with a RTX 4090 it’s working VERY well

I've got one, don't upgrade the bios if you want your expo/xmp to work, it's not 1 setting. It was on default bios. Then I upgraded and you need to be a computer science major to make expo work after that.
I was wrong, it's fine. My CPU (AliExpress 7500f) can't get the ram to 6000. And caused a crash again and again. Upgrade the bios. It's good value.
*Great video, I was looking at this but went with the Maxsun B650 as it was cheaper, might try this one in future if I need a small build.*

You are doing all the same tech I am doing at the moment! I just built a system in a Fractal Design Node 202 SFF case with an AsRock B650I Lightning WiFi, with a Ryzen 7900X (taken from a failed build where the motherboard died.) I managed to fit a 240mm AIO in the case. Just using integrated GPU as it is a media centre PC. Loving these new M-ITX boards and the build quality actually seems fairly decent across the board (pun intended.)
Ahahahah that's great to hear! I've alays been an ITX lover and to be honest, looking at how efficient the whole AM5 platform is, I think they're the go-to for SFF. Asrock too are a guarantee, I had a Phantom ITX back when I had the NZXT Manta as a case in my daily :)

It's nice to hear it works great with this motherboard I might just purchase it and your video definitely persuaded me in getting one. I figured since overclocking is not an option with the 7800x3d, this board would be great if it was stable.
Its am5 might as well go all out if you can especially with that 3d and there's more am5 chips coming so won't be useless
Hello, u said xmp enabling, i have s corsair vengence kit of ddr5 ram 6400mhz and it says intel xmp do u think this ram.will work on this motherboard?
I have h97i board from same company. It had a lot of issues with drivers on their website but thankfully auto detected driver worked just fine and it's still running quite nicely with 4670k!
Top on the line? probably not but I guess they're making ok quality mb for decent price.
Hi, did you install the m2 wifi yet? I have install it but window not recognize the card, do i need to enable something in BIOS?
did you enable Above 4G Decoding only resizable bar wont work properly without it.

Really impressed with the price and performance, and really cant believe the quality of the bios. Would love to make a build with this board! I have had 2 motherboards from this company, an x79 and x99. Still working to this day used both for budget gaming pcs that I sold on the cheap to some friends during the pandemic apocalypse.
That’s 100% my opinion! I had never tried Jginyue before, only Huananzhi and cheaper brands and honestly Jginyue is definitely more premium. Both as materials and as software. If you wanna do an ITX build like the one I’ve done in the 3D printed case, I 100% recommend it!
does this board work with the 8700g out of the box?
hey just see your video and i love it, i have this board too and update to latest bios but why my cpu fan is not detected in bios? check in hwmonitor too, there aren't even vram in motherboard monitoring 😂

anyone having trouble with flashing bios? I get errors like unspecified file from it
I bought 2 of these and use (1) for opnsense and the other runs custom debian with VPP as a router. no complaints
Hope someone with this board could test the ADT R54SF 4.0 adapter + an NVME to 5 Sata adapter to find out if that could be used for a NAS, even if it's slow as wifi usually is only 1x and probably gen2. This way you could have the pcie and both nvme free for other uses

I can put in NVME Raid mode, but the raidxpert menu don't show.

Nope, for Ryzen 7000 it is compatible out of the box. But for 8000 yes you’ll need a BIOS update!

I've ordered mine with a 7500f from AliExpress. Fingers crossed.. I've got expo corsair 6000mhz ram coming hopefully it all works.its going in an nzxt h1 V2 which has a fan controller..thanks for the review, it was this or an a620..
The overclocking ram expo/xmp is not going well. I've pressed the clear CMOS a lot..

I just bought this mobo for $95 on Saturday. I also picked up an AMD Ryzen 5 7500F. I plan on using 32GB G.SKILL Flare X5 (AMD Expo) RAM and a AMD Radeon 6800 XT GPU to build as gaming PC. Let's hope it goes according to plan. I bought this mobo on your recommendation! Non c'è niente di unfortunate sull'essere italiani!
Don't upgrade the bios yet. I have the same combo. Default bios is good for xmp.

@@atvina7129 Right now, the build will not post. I have two of the debug lights on. BOOT & GPU are lit up. I am using a AMD Ryzen 5 7600 right now because I still haven't received the 7500F from AliExpress.
hmmm what about ecc ram support and bifurcation options in bios?
Everything is there, surprisingly! So yes, with the right CPU ECC should work and you have all the settings (as well as some very in depth network settings that are generally not available on regular boards)

Where willl you ever get Bios updates? With any other manufacturers you get bios updates for a few years. Also bios flashback is common.
Good question! So far they have been providing regular bios updates every time a major thing (like new CPUs) come out. I also think they’re gonna stay in the market for a while :)
We have a new apr bios: Add an option to adjust the PWM value for each degree of temperature increase in fan temperature control settings, and add an option to switch PCIE rate adjustment (bios defaults to automatic gen3 rate). Have anyone tried it?
I have tried it, updated it yesterday. It works fine!
My main concern is how long it will take the 9000 bios update IF IT happens. Would hate to be buying another motherboard in 12 months
So far they’ve been very constant with BIOS updates, honestly I do think it’s gonna come out at the same time as other manufacturers:)

I'd consider this if it had a built in wifi option. Good budget option
To be fair, it has the physical space for the antennas and the slot for the module. WiFi modules can be had for 10 bucks roughly, so that's something to keep in mind :) Thanks a lot for watching and commenting!
@@ImWateringPSUs would they require usage of the pcie slot though? Maybe I'd be ok if it was mATX and I had another pcie slot for GPU but for itx that's not a compromise I want unless I know I'm just going to use APU
@@EzaneeGires it looks like it has an m.2 e key connector right where it should be near the io shield, where you can inser your own wif card. no need for additionalpcie slot for this

Erying for example, their drivers get flagged as malware... how about jginyue's drivers?
jginyue's drivers ? just use intel drivers , windows will probably will install everything automatically
These do not get flagged! But yes as the other comment said for most things you don’t need to get their drivers straight from the website, you can just use the AMD/Intel drivers :)

@@ImWateringPSUs i don't know how it is in global aliexpress, but in aliexpress russia for some items you should use non-russian address to even see an item in a search, and in an order conformation page change the address to your real one. And the same in the case with non-available shipping, seems weird but works

It works! Just need to enable the XMP and it will work flawlessly, I actually show it in my 3D Printed PC build where I used this motherboard
