I know that this is only preseason, but if I were the New York Islanders, I am really concerned. As for the Rangers, we need to play like that the entire game. Not just the last 6 minutes.
This mentality of always since the Henrik days of your goalie being your main guy only has to STOP! Play as a team win as a team! Also these slow starts?! Gotta play 60 minutes!
Lindgren is injury prone and should be traded not resigned! Small frail D will not win championships. Trouba look like a rookie giving pucks away and getting out of position trying to get the big hits. They need big mobile tough defensemen who play D first then add some offense as needed.
You see so many undersized guys get drafted in the later rounds because of their lack of size only for them to be strait up STEALS. I know it’s preseason but even from what we’ve seen last year it looks like a lot of teams are gonna regret passing Jones up.
