Hey... that mall looks familiar! I was an American (nonJew) visiting Israel as a high school student. The host family mother took me to the mall on the way to her home andat the food court asked if I liked Hummus.
It was an uncomfortable question for me. I didn't know why she would ask such a thing. Was this some sort of test? I respond3d diplomatically, "I try not to judge people," unsure of what else to say.
Apparently she wasn't saying "homos" with an accent! Oops!!! Hummus!!! She was saying HUMMUS! Ooplah! 😮
Definitely inspired to know how Hashem runs the world.
