I’m a king Yuan enjoyer. Though some interesting thing when you think about game balancing and players calling a character “mid/weak”. Assuming you character moves once a cycle, most 5 star dps do a shocking similar amount of damage, if you play there kits right. For Jing Yuan his damage can’t be forced higher by action advance or speed breaks because of lightning lord being slow. If you could action advance or speed up lighting lord, “forcing damage per cycle“ (additively) he would be strong if you had a way to stack a faster lighting lord. In fact I heard that in Closed Beta his damage was more spread out though his kit, meaning you could force his damage higher through action advance. But the devs but most of his damage in Lightning lord. So this came as a “nerf?” I guess. I mean I don’t personally mind because a lot of 5 star dps are fairly close (at high investment,) crazy ice lady seems disgusting because she strong at low and high investment. But the only thing that doesn’t feel fair is poor Lightning Lord getting CCed. Now that is the only case of mid yuan I can agree with.

Thanks! I do admit I like my rotation for the JY team :) Not so much on the Ratio side though! Like, I could have instantly ult with Pela here for the additional damage on Numby. Or hold using Ratio's ult here where I should use Pela's Ult first. But all in all, it is all okay!
about RM TY team for JY. U still use technique but u should use Fuxuan skill at her first action to get ult(get hit or err rope will get ult immidiately) then use JY skills and fuxuan ult to get 100% on gatekeeper then use JY ult to finish all the fishes(60% def down). It took me only 1 cycle with this strategy. Idk if u use attack or spd boots on JY with Rm, but I recommend using atk boots and put dance x3 lc on TY, u will still be able to get 10 stacks with this instead of spd boots.
Yup indeed, I just tried what you said and you're correct. I just use this team because it has less RNG. Either way, I agree that it is better to use Atk% boots in any situation even if it gets you an 8 LL stacks. I actually tried a run with TY+RM+SPD boots JY(Just to get 143 SPD) and dang he hits like a wet noodle and costs me 1 cycle. 😅
I did JingYuan Node 1 with 0 cycles. Took a little risk with Ruan Mei + Ting Yun + Pela and prayed to the god that the mobs wouldn't just dumb all damage on one unit. =)) But well, at least I got to see Jing Yuan deal 700k with Lightning Lord (and almost 400k with his ult).

Ay nice going there. You can shave off a cycle with that team with JY for sure. I actually use the same JY too but then I tried other team and apparently this team nets me a cycle earlier with less RNG! For that JY team, I had to make sure TY gets hit for the energy or else I'd retry lol. Why? It is because I was waiting for the fishes to spawn so I had to squeeze in 2x TY and JY ult with the help of HuoHuo in a cycle before LL drops. Don't worry about Fu Xuan, for sure she will rerun soon. I actually like FX more with JY than Huohuo but that's why opinion. One reason is FX is not as SP hungry as HuoHuo.

Herta LC is still good. But if you have S5 breakfast, or the LC I am using or BP LC, you should use them. Don't worry about having no Bronya. While Bronya herself is a very good character but she's not an optimal support for Jing Yuan as her skill only lasts for 1 turn. Sure JY's Skill and Ult still deal a lot of damage but you're still losing a chunk of that damage because Bronya's E won't buff LL. Fire trailblazer is not bad and Hanya is good for JY as always. (I heard FuXuan will have a rerun soon so maybe wait on that).
great Jingyuan gameplay , I see some people making many mistakes when they use him , but I have a feeling that Sparkle will make him a lot easier and simpler to play , especially for the casual players

His 4* light cones: the battle pass cone Peaceful Day > the gacha only cone Genius' Repose > the f2p cones Cosmos and Breakfast. Cosmos is slightly better than Breakfast but Breakfast is much more generalist and can be brought into many different fights. I would not level birth of the self for Jing Yuan.

For him to hide his UID, I assume it is for safety reasons, Some HSR content creators who often make showcases like this also hide their UID (ex : Ravelika).
I was in the mid yuan train until fu xuan came where I decided to build my JY and know how to use him. It's my first HSR video ever in the channel and you can see how terrible I was lol. I am not going to force you to build him but if you do, I can say he's a good character to build.

Asta is a good replacement. She buffs Attack and Speed. Though, it will be difficult to keep her stacks up in this MOC due to the lack of fire weakness. But do keep wishing for Sparkle's banner. You may be lucky and get Sparkle or Hanya in these 20+ days. No Asta? Pela is fine too even if it's a copium pick. It will work but just don't have the efficiency.
Yup. Hanya, Tingyun, and Topaz are all achievable since all of them have a base speed of 110+. With speed boots, you need about ~12 SPD rolls(including base sub stat). Luocha however has a base speed of 101 but with messenger relics(6% speed) it just added ~6 SPD. (101+6+25) With this, you need 15 SPD rolls. A bit difficult but achievable. Fu Xuan here is an exception. I do admit she's with cracked relics.
Guinafen is a good unit for Ratio. You can use Tingyun too. For premium units, you can pair him with Ruan Mei or Silver wolf. There is even a niche set for a sustain to trigger more FuP for ratio by equipping "Trend of the Universal Market" LC. (Not recommended though)
They're about the same. It depends on the situation tbh. For any enemies with lightning elements, I would use the LC I am using. If the MOC has a lot of mobs, I would use breakfast LC. But let's say you already built breakfast LC, no need to build this new LC so that you save your resources.
Not at all. Since JY's signature is designed specifically for him, it is significantly better. But as you can see, you can still deal a lot of Dmg with a F2P LC. Signature LC exist only if you are able to afford it.
How tf you get all these relics. Your every artifact has 3-4 useful substats, mine are not even close to this. Are you spending money on energy or wtf?
RIP? Not really. Outperforms? Depends. Competitor? Yes. They're essentially the same characters on paper. But why do I say that they are the same? 1) Their damage are backloaded, 2) Needing a specific unit to function well (TY for JY & Nihility for the unit), 3) and little options for light cones. Though her only option is GNSW which have not released in gacha since 200+ days ago. (TBF JY has more options now and they're F2P) Why do people think the future unit is OP? It's still version 1 beta and again, backloaded damage. So big numbers at the end and big numbers make *insert neuron activation meme here*. Despite what I say, I can see her getting better overtime. Better LC will be released, better supports, etc and I will probably going to pull her anyways. Her animations are immaculate and the fact that she deletes small mobs is a timesaver.
@@kryoh7233 she definitely outperforms him tbh. This is already proven unless they nerf her which is highly unlikely at this point. She does everything JY can but better. Her relic options make it way easier for her to hit a desirable crit ratio. She gets a bunch of dmg bonus for free so she doesn't need a lightning orb either. So she gets spd, double atk% main stat while also getting cr% for free on her relics and also gettinf cdmg% for free on both her LC and her traces. Idk how they can even compare at this point. She beats him in terms of cost effectiveness and also in the dmg category as of right now. She also has way better eidolons. Her E2 puts her in the realm of straight up op.

If I were to counter, why only JY when she threatens other characters due to her ult ignoring enemies' weaknesses? Exactly, because other characters are different.

What I use are meta characters but I am not going to say JY is mid because that is entirely wrong. If you play Genshin Impact, this is the same situation for Childe/Tartaglia(my YT pfp). He has one of the most misunderstood kit hence why I like him. People always bark on his E's long cooldown but if your E has a long cooldown then you are using it wrong. Childe international team has been a top team for many patches. This is the same with JY, people are so focused on LL. Sure LL deals a lot of damage but his skills and ult are important too. If you know how to use JY, he can become strong(he is strong tbf). Despite people calling him mid, JY teams have been on the top of the ladder a lot of times.

Nope. "The Day The Cosmos Fell" is still good but Qingque's LC is just better.

Asta is a good replacement. She buffs Attack and Speed. Though, it will be difficult to keep her stacks up in this MOC due to the lack of fire weakness. But do keep wishing for Sparkle's banner. You may be lucky and get Sparkle or Hanya in these 20+ days. No Asta? Pela is fine too even if it's a copium pick. It will work but just don't have the efficiency.

Yup. Hanya, Tingyun, and Topaz are all achievable since all of them have a base speed of 110+. With speed boots, you need about ~12 SPD rolls(including base sub stat). Luocha however has a base speed of 101 but with messenger relics(6% speed) it just added ~6 SPD. (101+6+25) With this, you need 15 SPD rolls. A bit difficult but achievable.
Fu Xuan here is an exception. I do admit she's with cracked relics.

Guinafen is a good unit for Ratio. You can use Tingyun too. For premium units, you can pair him with Ruan Mei or Silver wolf.
There is even a niche set for a sustain to trigger more FuP for ratio by equipping "Trend of the Universal Market" LC. (Not recommended though)

They're about the same. It depends on the situation tbh. For any enemies with lightning elements, I would use the LC I am using. If the MOC has a lot of mobs, I would use breakfast LC. But let's say you already built breakfast LC, no need to build this new LC so that you save your resources.

Not at all. Since JY's signature is designed specifically for him, it is significantly better. But as you can see, you can still deal a lot of Dmg with a F2P LC. Signature LC exist only if you are able to afford it.

But why do I say that they are the same?
1) Their damage are backloaded,
2) Needing a specific unit to function well (TY for JY & Nihility for the unit),
3) and little options for light cones. Though her only option is GNSW which have not released in gacha since 200+ days ago.
(TBF JY has more options now and they're F2P)
Why do people think the future unit is OP? It's still version 1 beta and again, backloaded damage. So big numbers at the end and big numbers make *insert neuron activation meme here*.
Despite what I say, I can see her getting better overtime. Better LC will be released, better supports, etc and I will probably going to pull her anyways. Her animations are immaculate and the fact that she deletes small mobs is a timesaver.
@@kryoh7233 she definitely outperforms him tbh. This is already proven unless they nerf her which is highly unlikely at this point. She does everything JY can but better. Her relic options make it way easier for her to hit a desirable crit ratio. She gets a bunch of dmg bonus for free so she doesn't need a lightning orb either. So she gets spd, double atk% main stat while also getting cr% for free on her relics and also gettinf cdmg% for free on both her LC and her traces. Idk how they can even compare at this point. She beats him in terms of cost effectiveness and also in the dmg category as of right now. She also has way better eidolons. Her E2 puts her in the realm of straight up op.

Now, if we get into eidolon, obviously she will be cracked(like many 5* are). If I were to counter, why only JY when she threatens other characters due to her ult ignoring enemies' weaknesses? Exactly, because other characters are different.

@@Yinseireitbf those who calls JY mid are not meta slaves at all. Meta slaves KNOWS the worth of each character and knows how to make them work. I can consider myself as a metaslave. What I use are meta characters but I am not going to say JY is mid because that is entirely wrong. If you play Genshin Impact, this is the same situation for Childe/Tartaglia(my YT pfp). He has one of the most misunderstood kit hence why I like him. People always bark on his E's long cooldown but if your E has a long cooldown then you are using it wrong. Childe international team has been a top team for many patches.
This is the same with JY, people are so focused on LL. Sure LL deals a lot of damage but his skills and ult are important too. If you know how to use JY, he can become strong(he is strong tbf). Despite people calling him mid, JY teams have been on the top of the ladder a lot of times.
