Really needed this today, my PCA got fired last Friday and they won’t give me a new one because I don’t have insurance. My wheelchair is very broken and while I needed her for everything even if it was working right, it’s a lot worse now because I can’t even get out of my building in the snow anymore. I’ve been without her for a full week as of Friday, I have no way to pick up or pay for my next formula prescription and hers was the only office in the county that does this which isn’t exclusive to seniors so I don’t think I’m ever getting a new one…and with the way things are going I know nothing about that is going to change. I don’t know what to do.

My daughter is really worried about her safety for the next several years. It breaks my heart that anyone has to feel worried about being their true self in this day and age. I couldn't have ever imagined that we'd go so far backwards in progression, when i came to the US, about 20 years ago (before anyone makes any assumptions; i came here legally 😅). I will do whatever possible to protect my kids to all cost; equally. How can i tell them that it's OK for one of them to like girls but not for the other?! 😉😄 I'm forever a safe place for those who can't be their true self at home. We judge people for their malicious actions; nothing else. ❤

It seems that people who label themselves "conservative" lack compassion for others in need - even mocking those who label themselves "liberal" for being so caring. But when _conservatives_ suffer and need care and compassion, who do they turn to? Who is *prepared* for misfortune? Who tries to plan ahead should something unfortunate occur? Forgive my rant. I hope your father knows how lucky he is to have you in his life. I hope you take the time and energy to care for yourself too.
@LillyTheLonelySock they definitely do those things. They don't care about others and they absolutely mock others. I have to drive my dad to the hospital for his chemo and I saw a big metal object on the back of a trailer and was trying to figure out what that was and realize it was probably the lid to a water tanker. My dad started questioning the water tank and saying the reservoirs are empty. My dad's not dumb but he's totally falling for this idea that the reservoirs here in California are empty when they're not. It's something I can easily be looked up and I told him the problem was the tankers because you have to pipe water up to the tankers for the water pressure. The reservoirs had nothing to do with fires over here. It's just so frustrating And he does know how lucky he is. He's always happy when I come over. He's been dealing with this cancer for almost 2 years now and I promised him I wouldn't stop talking to them because I already blew up with them before all of this cuz I was tired of listening to them just say shity things about people. I promised I wouldn't cut them off again but it's so frustrating. I don't want to talk to them when they're saying they're shittiest things and not talking to them for a few months hurt them but then they don't care that they hurt my feelings.
@UlexiteTVStoneLexite I really wish they wouldn't take your love and support for granted. It's big of you to choose not to cut them off for their insensitive treatment. But they shouldn't just _assume_ they can continue being cruel. If you've cut off your parents before and this hurt them, they should have realized that you mean a lot to them, and you have boundaries. I'm no expert when it comes to family drama ... 🙄 far from it. Please don't think I'm suggesting that you cut them off. But if they ever do mock and belittle people who actually care about others in need, you could always "gently" remind them that you are _literally_ one of them. For example: 🤔 "Gee, Dad. You think people who ask for help don't really NEED help and are just LAZY? I guess you don't NEED ME to drive you to the hospital then! Oh, what's that? You _do_ need me? But, I'm confused. You said people need to 'pull themselves up by their bootstraps,' otherwise they'll get lazier and more dependent. Should I really be giving you a ride if that's true? Unless, or course ... 😏 you're wrong?"

As a lesbian nonbinary T1D biologically female human being, I am really having an interesting time with the people at school who support trump and are obsessed with god. I keep being asked questions about the LGBTQ+ community by this one kid and every time I answer I get feedbck about what god thinks about that. This kid is trying to convert me back to Christianity after that is how I was raised and baptized because now I don’t really believe in god. I don’t agree with everything happening now but I like to think our lives are significantly better now than in the like Middle Ages or than world war 2 or even just during Covid
i love this handsome fella! They want us unable to get along with each other through fear and rage tactics, etc. They want us all scared and afraid the sky is falling so that we dont cause them trouble. Im looking up. i may not move as easily as i once did, but im trying to use strategies to cope. 7-6-8 breathing technique works wonders for me. Sometimes, i do one set of 5 . Other times, i have to do it every 5 mins over and over on high panic attack dats.
I hope that everyone affected from the fires and that plane crash happened there families are in my prayers. And those who lost love ones im sorry for your loss. And im sorry for the lives and houses and business lost in the fires.
I know it’s rough right now y’all, but just remember, you are loved, you are kind, you are an amazing human being. And don’t let a bunch of bigots tell you otherwise or what you should be!

I’m honestly to grateful for my friends. I recently came out as transmasc to them, and found out that I am queer (not gay, queer.) They listen to me (I rant and vent to my older sister friend every Friday), and respond in ways that make me feel like I’m loved and special. Guys, we can make it through these 4 years. I know it seems helpless, but we can do it.
