昔黒川温泉の旅館へ行くと部屋の壁際に温泉の配管が剥き出して通して合って中を流れるお湯の温度で室内がポカポカしてました。懐かしいわー

Neither of these stove installations are "Rocket stoves" but they do use some features of the Rocket Stove design.
The Rocket stove design is misunderstood by many/most people.
Rocket stove design principals:
1st: Fast hot combustion. The true rocket stove achieves this by using a narrow long firebox with fast/high velocity airflow that makes a sound like a rocket engine when it is burning well. This is where the name comes from. This high velocity air/heat flow is what properly drives the exhaust through the inverted barrel and horizontal pipes used for heat recovery.
2nd feature of true rocket stove is secondary combustion of any remaining fuel/smoke in the insulated heat riser.
3rd: The inverted chamber after/over the insulated heat riser provides 1st stage of heat recovery from exhaust. 2nd stage of heat recovery in a true rocket stove is the stove exhaust running horizontally through thermal mass which was mud/clay/adobe in the original rocket stove. Concrete also works well because the temperature is not high.
A true Rocket Stove features a fast very hot burn of the fuel, secondary burn of any remaining fuel by adding additional air to the very hot heat riser base and 2 stages of heat recovery into thermal mass.
A true Rocket stove will use much less wood than another typical wood stove and provide heat for much longer.
Adding thermal mass/bricks to the 1st heat recovery chamber as you have done will store a little bit of heat and release it slowly but really much more mass is required to make it truly useful and effective.
Your friend's stove installation is simply using long runs of stove exhaust pipe to recover heat and distribute it around the room however he has no thermal mass for long term heat storage... this means it is far less efficient and must burn much more wood.
A true Rocket stove can be fired 2 or 3 times per day for short fire burn and provide heat from the thermal mass heat storage for many hours.
Because of the extreme temperature of the Rocket stove accelerated combustion no creosote is remaining to clog the exhaust... only very fine ash.
Much less maintenance is required and much less firewood needs to be collected.
In a true Rocket Stove you would not be able to put glass over the top of the heat riser... the glass would melt soon because of much higher combustion chamber temperature..

送風機が付いているロケットストーブもあるんですねー!最近では薪ストーブと煉瓦を組み合わせて作るペチカやオンドルも気になって調べていました🤗
