That lungfish looks like a South American lungfish, which can grow to be over four feet long and live up to 20 years! Based on the size (and what look like cataracts in its eyes), I think you've got a pretty old dude. That is an INSANE find (like, "call the local zoo" level find). I hope he gets to live out a long and happy life, and please keep us updated on him!
The fish you put in your fish room are Dragon puffer, jelly catfish, Giraffe catfish that you didn't know now you do Bobby. Hope you covered the tank or the albino Arrowanas could jump out. Great video as usual keep it up
I've watched so many of your videos. I used to work in a huge fish store. We also sold reptiles. I used to have several tanks set up at home. I've had cichlids, I've have Molly's and other live barriers. Schools of tetras. It's been 13 years since I've had a fish tank. I bought an aquarium water test kit so I can test my well water to see where all my levels are at and I'm going to set up my 55 gallon tank. I'm so excited to set it up. I love watching your videos. I love seeing how excited you get when you find something. My husband has even come in and watch your vids with me. Now I have to decide what kind of fish you took. I know I'm definitely getting another rope fish. I may call Bobby :)

Bobby this was A GREAT VIDEO!! Helen FINALLY got her dream Arowanas X4!!! 😍🥳 You do need to move that big mouth catfish out of the tank with all your prize fish you just got. It will eat them all. Also your lung fish is blind and I fear your Mata Mata and softshell will snack on him. You definitely need to go back soon, there might be more albino Arowanas in those other ponds you need to take a bunch of your fish traps and put them all over those ponds. They should have donated the fish to a fish store instead of releasing them into the wild. This is just eco crime and should be punishable by jail time.
I would reccomend putting the unkown catfish ( yawning one ) in a different aquarium or pond it will eat the fish cause its a type of pimelod catfish ( redtail lima shovelnose and tiger shovel family or fine catfish )
Dude, I randomly came across you and this is my second video and I think I'm already addicted. You are so entertaining and I love fish. You are so awesome for saving them.
How many fish survived in that tank? Arowanas are jumpers and will jump out out that tank sooner or later. That puffer got a sharp beak and will probably try and take chunks out of the tankmates, best kept singly in its own tank, fed snails/crayfish to help grind down it's beak as the beak is always growing and may get so long the fish is unable to feed eventually! The jelly catfish is a swimming mouth and can eat fish as big as itself almost, those eels will taste like spaghetti to it and those knifefish will be dessert as well I fear. And no hiding spaces? Those fish will be so stressed. Just some opinions!
That lungfish was insane! I hope it lives a long and happy life with you. Also, I think that speckled catfish with the big mouth was a baby flathead catfish. I'm not sure, but if it is, it will eventually need to go in your predator pond, because they grow BIG. The biggest flathead catfish ever recorded was 123 pounds!

Wow that spot is crazy! It's like someone dumped a whole exotic fish store into those ponds. I think it's nuts that people think its ok to just dump their pets in a neighborhood pond. I seriously dont understand how some people could do that like i lived by a place that was common for people to drop cats people just dump them off when they are done. It's the same for dogs, cats, fish, reptiles etc... except for here exotic fish and reptiles wouldn't survive. But i will never understand how a person could get to that point. Theres so many ways to find a new home or do something good because a person has a responsibility to their pets. Also the damage it does to an ecosystem like Florida, its interesting to learn about the various species running wild in florida and how they destroy the natural habitats and animals

My mom lived in an apartment complex in Florida for a while that had 2 huge ponds stocked full of all sorts of neat fish. The maintenance worker is who put them all in there and he took care of them. One night someone stole the giant largemouth bass out of the pond, and upset the entire community. I can just imagine a maintenance worker going to the ponds you were in to check on his fish, and getting really upset that someone stole everything.
I'm guessing a number of those exotic/non-native fish species escaped from private outdoor ponds that overflowed during floods where they escaped and got into nearby waterways that allowed them to migrate elsewhere. Many parts of Florida are prone to excessive flooding.
You should get 10 fish traps and put one in each segment to see if there’s a different variety of fish and different sides or ponds and give a review on each one❤
