Yes, it is 50. Focus on the defensive driving part more. And just clarify with the examiner before the start of the test that about the speedlimits in this area.
I did my g in Oshawa this week and it was similar to this route but not the exact same one. It was really easy though. I did my test at 1:15pm so there was barely any traffic. I passed on my 1st try! Also they made me parallel parking as well
Got my G a couple weeks ago. The driving examiner was unexpectedly chatty and we conversed about things like, the weather and stuff during the test. I found it actually helped me calm right down and not be as anxious as I probably would have been.
Rud3Suli B What is the speed limit in the residential area where they make you do 3-point turn, emergency stop, parallel park, and enter highway (Hibbert Ave, Tresane St, Cubert St, Drew St)?
Did the G test today and passed. They took me on a different route but this video is still very accurate. They'll ask for parallel parking. That is a must. Good luck!
Passed here today, the examiner took me on this exact route! I accidentally went 60 on the one way area near the end but the guy didnt seem to notice or care so I just braked very gently and got the speed back down to 50. Good luck to everyone doing their G here
nina wais uh it depends on who you get as your examiner. I got this guy (examiner #366) he was fair to me but didn't really talk too much other than to tell me where to go. He asked me to parallel park at the first side street where they did the emergency stop in this video. Didn't ask me to switch lanes on the highway at all. Later when we finished the test he told me he didn't ask me to switch lanes on the 401 because as soon as I made my first left turn onto park road from John street he felt that I knew how to drive. I also took my own car which I drive everyday and didn't take an instructor with me so from that I guess he felt more comfortable and going there by myself made me feel really confident as well! One advice I can give you is to call it out verbally when you're checking blind spots and your mirrors so that way you remember to do it and the examiner also hears you say you're doing it in case they don't see you looking. Best of luck on your road test!
damian oliver not that difficult.I went test center 3 or 4 times to familiarize.she didnt ask to do reverse but everything else.make yiu change lane lots

Snowkat Sorry to bother you again. What are the speed limits in the residential area where they make you do 3-point turn, emergency stop, parallel park, and enter highway (Hibbert Ave, Tresane St, Cubert St, Drew St)?
It should be 50 unless posted right, like Mill St for a few seconds? But my gut tells me that it’s better to do 40.
Snowkat Gotcha. I guess I get confused when the sign start saying “40 begins” falsely implicating that it was 50 before. Especially when you make a left turn to Mill St from Cubert St and left turn from Simcoe St to John St W. I have my G on Jan 28. Thanks so much.
please share the location
i'm going for my c tomorrow soooo nervous.
Good luck. I can tell you the routes if you want. Let me know how it went.
@@mohammad0988 would you be able to tell me the routes please?? I have my G in a month i've never been on the highway so I am trying to get as much confidence and tips as i can before doing the test!!!
marandaxo77 Sorry for the late reply. I posted a comment, you should find it. You should drive on the highway for at least a month everyday before giving the test if you have never gone on the highway. I would say 2 months, everyday for like 20-30 mins.
thank you oshwa
I’m going for mine next month
Zimbert Bramble Update?
You are the king of running stop signs to try and keep that certain distance from the other car huh? 6:16 and 6:44 .... You guys teach driving lessons?
From 4.25 till 7.15 doesn't shows the speed on road. Is it 50km? Its unposted or should I stay in 40km?
Jay Gravity True. But can’t be doing that speed when it’s raining or something.
Is it speed limit of 40 or 30 in the residential areas?
Jessica Wang 50 for residential and 40 for a school zone 😊😊
Cassidy Brasier I’m pretty sure it’s 40 in residential areas and 30 in school zones
@@samrastagar8554 no in ontario (if not all of canada) its 50 in res and 40 for school zones
its more of the driving than actual test.

My mom will
is there a specific point when entering that you must be at 100.
My instructor taught me the you should be at 100 Km/h by the time the rear of your vehicle passes the point where the merging line ends.
Crap on a stick >
I wish these people from out of town would do ther test in the city ther from they take all the litttle back res and most can’t drive I’m from oshawa now I live in Lindsay they all come from Toronto Markham to get ther licence they should not be allowed if you can’t drive in a busy citie you should not be able to get your licence in a place not as busy now they go back to Toronto after they get ther licence and they still can’t drive in ther citie because they are to nervous
I agree, but sometimes it's because some farther locations have open slots, whereas nearby ones may not.
