Dissipate is such a juggernaut of a song, what an absolute banger of a record
Its easily the best song on the album.
huge Guilt & Grief and Mortal Coil vibes to it, while it sounds like it fits in perfectly with Fatalism. such a unit of a track

I was blown away. Literally every song is amazing. Ryan Siew really put his heart and soul into this before he passed. Gives the album an eery vibe
With Regards hits so hard hearing the lyrics and knowing what happened to Ryan. Shit made me tear up on first listen.

Do you mind telling me what happened to him in relation to that song? I can't find anything on it when searching for it.
@@daltonevans3412 Ryan was opened about his depression and mental health struggles for years. No cause of his death was given but usually thats common phrasing for suicide. The song isn’t even about him but some of the lyrics just make me think of him and anyone with mental health struggles and life struggles in general. Love this song.
@@8JFJK8 i read the cause of death was "brain fog" but that made no sense to me, because everything about brain fog says it's not something that will be fatal unless they injure themselves, but if that were the case, whatever injured them would be listed as the cause of death and not the brain fog.
Dissipate is honestly one of the best songs I’ve heard in a longggg time. It’s an absolute fucking banger.
For me every Polaris album is a 10, i dont know if i can even pick a favorite Polaris album. Changes depending on the day. This album is a 10/10 for me.
Dissipate slapped the soul out of my body. It came out of nowhere and I love it.
This year has been packed with godtier albums and all of them deserve the number 1 spot, but damn. I've never been huge on Polaris, but I think Fatalism has to take the crown.

The singles really didnt blow me away, but as I listened to the whole record the singles flowed with the album perfectly and i appreciated them more. The whole album was fire.
i'd say so, and i can say with confidence its my AOTY without a shadow of a doubt. what a phenomenal piece of work
For me it was Heavener but this is the only album that might be able to top it. Ill decide after i listen to it religiously for another 3 months😂
Same here, this could very well change soon since there's new Erra and Vild on the way but we'll see. I don't expect Vildhjarta to drop anything else before 2030

TDOM justttt beats this album overall, however….dissipate is a juggernaut of track! And that breakdown in Aftertouch punches hard, very easily an AOTY contender for sure.

Definitely not. The Mortal Coil and The Guilt & The Grief were WAY WAY better. This album is competing for 3rd at best.
