Seeing this for the first time on January 7, 2024. I have a grandson who will be 9 on Saturday. He has Down syndrome and is not gentle with books, his age mentally is between 2 and 4 years of age. While I won't get this done before his birthday, I will be making some of these pages for him to use. I'll have to put the book together a different way so he doesn't lose pages and the first book is better suited to him but I want to thank you for your ideas. Thank you! He wore out his previous commercially made cloth book. Now, he can have books again. Blessings!
This is great thanks , I am going to make my granddaughter one. Another crafty challenge 🙂 I liked the washing machine machine page and clothes line.also the beads for counting ❤
I made a really simple sewn busy book for my son's first birthday--but yours are really epic! I can definitely imagine how many hours went into these books! I think your system of one book with removable pieces and one book without is very smart!
Ok, now so cool. Love the busy books, shared plus I went on etsy to get on for running off page ideas. Just starting it and havent done any thinking about that.
Thank you for this video these ideas are great for special children like my son I have been looking for books that he can relate too on his own and your video and every details was just what I need, thank you ❤❤❤❤

I love both, the idea to respect the book first is so important. What do you think about having a pleather front cover so it looks like an old leather book? 😄😃
I did the same with mine also.I made one with removable parts first for use at home and another one for on the go without removable parts.I attached movable parts with ribbon to the book page so that they are not lost at church etc
Dollar stores carry flat pencil cases with 3 rings. You could use that to hold all the bits and fasten it to the rings of book. Thanks for the great ideas, I'm going to make one for my grandson 😊
I love this idea. If you plan on selling them I am definitely interested in purchasing one 🤩. My daughter will be starting kindergarten this year and could use this.
Peace and Wellness. Been wanting to do this. I Love Everything About This Video. My favorite pages were your favorite pages. Loved your smiles and enthusiasm. What size clasps did you use for the shapes page? Please and Thank You.
I feel ya on not having enough time! I began planning this while I was pregnant and am glad I finished it while Aubrey was less interactive. If I started now, it would take me at least twice as long!
Limabean Living I have a two year old daughter and she is super active and taking her to the store is crazy and nerve racking these books look great to keep her calm doing something maybe I’ll even try making a book like this even if just a few pages looks fun to make maybe you can make a video just making a page?
Norma Robles I totally understand the store anxiety!!! I will either make another page and film it, or come up with a smaller “on-the-go” version! Thanks for the idea!!!
I'm really GLAD that I stumbled upon your video! 😍 😍 I've a 2 years old girl who is super active and wreck my nerves whenever we go to the supermarket or any other place! 😂 So I was looking for an easy - almost no sew- Quiet/ Busy Book.. and I found yours! 😍 You're amazing! Your explanation and your demonstration too! Thanks a lot for sharing! Lots of love from Egypt 🇪🇬 💕
This comment made my day!!! 🥰 Thank you for the kind words. I hope your daughter loves the book you plan to make! My daughter loves playing with the little clothes, going fishing and the color wheel right now.
Quick Note: I just wanted to clarify that when I said I don’t like to use a lot of equipment, I didn’t mean supplies. Obviously this craft uses a bunch of supplies, but I didn’t have to use major machinery! However, if you have the cricut maker, you could probably use it to cut out all of the clothing pieces, since it cuts fabric and felt!
Oh my gosh! I love this video and the books. You are so genuine and well-spoken. Thank you for doing the video, and I'm excited to make some of these pages for my granddaughter who is 2.
This is so simple but interactive! I like it. I just started making these but my problem is that here in Brasil we only have soft felt, which needs to be treated to make it stiff, a lot of work but I am LOVING the creative process. thanks for sharing. Ilove the idea of taking the pages apart so more children can play. :) Renee in Sao Paulo. God bless.

Thank you for the kind words. I wish I had filmed everything too! 🤦🏼♀️ At the time I made these, I had no idea I was going to eventually start a RUclips channel. But I do plan on making more pages eventually - and will show the steps!
Great video! You did a really beautiful job of those books and the pacing was excellent. I'm going to be making busy books for my grandsons for Christmas so this gave me lots more ideas. My kids had one and yes...sharing was difficult. Using the eyelets is an excellent plan.
So cool! Definitely planning on making my own, love the washing machine and dryer. An add on page would be good for some dolls/people to attach the clothes to! If you make one please share
Ive seen one with a washing machine and line with little pegs and a laundry basket. Next page was a wardrobe and little person who can wear the clothes. Lovely ideas.

I LOVE these! If I didn't have so many projects on my plate already I'd totally add this lol! I especially love the one with removable pieces. How long did they take to make?
I worked on them off and on for a couple weeks. I think if I knew what I wanted to do for each page from the start, it would have been much easier. Then I would do a day of cutting (although now it might be easier just to use the cricut maker), glueing, and assembling, etc.

It’s been awhile…but some tips: 1. Measure out and cut pages at same time to ensure a nice looking book. 2. Draw your designs on the felt before cutting so you get a shape you like - glue this side down or together with a matching shape to hide pen marks. 3. Draw out your plans for pages (labeling colors & supplies) and make sure you don’t need more of one felt color than you have available. 4. Sew if you can - I am intimidated by sewing. So in chose glue for the most part. But glue is much more durable! 5. Have fun! The final product may not be perfect, but it will be special. Make sure you enjoy the process.

I wish I had time to get so creative. My 2 yr old and 1 yr old leave me little time to make something as neat as this.
Now that I have 2 kids, I don’t think I could make this as fast as I did. Maybe in a year or two! I think they would still enjoy it then!

Hi. May I know what kind of paper did you use please
All of the supplies I used can be found in the description! I bought 12x12 felt sheets and cut them down to be 10x10 for the book
What type of glue did you use (sweater)?
I believe I used the purple glue stick
How to make this book , the tips practice plz ???💚💚💚💚
It’s been awhile…but some tips:
