@@ThePunggolHandyMan @ThePunggolHandyMan Nope. The gunk you had to clear, made me 🤔 think: he's there to repair a leak, he shouldn't have to deal with clogs... Unless you already charge for it in your standard rate. By the way, is it safe to use caustic soda with modern pipes?
Well in my experience all pipes have debris to a certain extent and this was a scheduled appointment not a emergency call. So no I did not charge for the clearing as I actually did not need to go out of my way to clear it. Yea and I usually flush the whole system with a bucket of water before i begin work. Err hygine
Silicone is a sealant and yes it will prevent water from going in into spaces you don’t want water to go in. Now that’s not going to really stop the sink from being loose it will keep it in place for a bit but the sink will come loose again because is not glued into the counter top also I believe the opening they made for the sink is kind of big and you have space for the sink to move from side to side.
Silicone can be an insanely strong glue. I bought an old van with a heavy old solar panel that was just held on with silicone. It was a huge ordeal to remove because it was so well glued down.
Geez. Thank you for uploading. If I were in your shoes I'd ask the owner to please flush that acid used to unclog things before doing the job 😮
Are you talking about a different video?

Hi. Is it a good idea to put silicon around the base as well? So water or dirt wont get under the vessel?
The vessel sink was designed to look like a bowl on a table. If you do that, you spoil the look
@@ThePunggolHandyMan if its not the bowl type? Like a rectangular shape? Is it ok? I want this type but i got kids. 😂😅😅
@@khairulnizam4177 usually I wouldn't recommend it. Harder to clean the back. And most of the sink leaks come from this type of sit on top sink
@@ThePunggolHandyMan Noted. Tq very bro.
thanks 🍺
WHY are you wearing a mask? WHY???
Why not WHY NOOOT?
You should be using a respirator actually! Yesterday I accidentally opened the bottom and my eyes started hurting. I had goggles too.
