@@djackson4605 I don't really think it's a conspiracy theory. It seems pretty well accepted to anybody who's actually looked into it that it was a hoax.
Here's my analysis of NL on social games: From a very high level theoretical standpoint, he is technically correct. However, this does not consider that in every social game he's played, none of his co-players are experienced at the game. Thus, it is an unfair assumption and there is no expectation that the other players should play optimally. Therefore, if NL really wants to play optimally, his play should consider that the other players are playing suboptimally. Thus, NL's "optimal play" which assumes other players play optimally in an equilibrium, is actually suboptimal.
I posit that there was nothing he could do, dude. During project winter Mathas said "I heard Ryan talking to K8." Ryan had been dead for like 10 minutes. His only winning move is not to play.

NL your not gonna believe me because I forgot to record it. But 3 days ago on fall guys. We was playing perfect match with like 30 people left. And 29 of us forgot where the fruit was on the 3rd wave and only 1 person out of 30 remembered and they won the game.
It's a shame that social deduction games on NLSS died. Figuring out the meta would also have taken longer, if there were more playstyles besides loud meta.
Exactly, they were fun, but they jumped to yelling over themselves too much. And it just compounds and people get frustrated and it compounds more. They just need to take things down a notch and be a little less serious and more reasonable in their playstyle.
I think you can't divorce the sociological from the psychological in regards to the Egg Father's paranoia in Project Winter. He tends to react in a highly defensive manner in any situation; as a result of being accused in the very first game of the series, it put him in a reactive mindset typical to a defensive individual. This in turn, led the others to view him with suspicion, as reacting in an overly defensive manner is often used by guilty parties to try and shift the blame off themselves. This reinforced his preconceived notion that people viewed him as the 'bad guy' leading to him to act in a manner, unintentionally or otherwise, which reinforced his defensive behavior and led to further suspicion. It was a negative feedback loop.
Very well said, but he won't admit he's biased and more emotional than he realizes. Very simple, they're all streamers but he refers to himself as the streamer. He feels he should be treated differently, but won't explicitly say it because he literally doesn't realize it about himself. Been watching him for like 7 years, but recently he's "the victim" or "being attacked" in his mind, and he's kind of a snowflake without realizing it. Its not often (Josh days by far the most), but its uncomfortable to watch. That's why these psychological/manipulation games with friends are so stressful and un-fun for him. His lack of self-awareness is becoming alienating because he "feels attacked" when others are just playing their game. I'll mention again too, they're all streamers, but he uses the term "the streamer" as if he's a different class/tier. Ego I don't know, stress about the baby could be... Or he's hangry and gonna be fussy until he has a snack. He gets cranky frequently, he needs to eat more before stream I think. He'd have less mood-swings, which are only occasionally entertaining.
My equivalent of the skill testing question has been "what do you think of Baby Metal?" Doesn't matter if they like them or not, but if they go into a rant about how they are ruining metal or not real music or whatever I don't talk to that person anymore
honestly i hate playing social deduction games at my job because literally all the kids always kill all the teachers immediately... so if you're a teacher and you get the wolf card you just lost instantly. and then we have to act like it's not annoying because the kids love those games.
The biggest issue on every social deduction game is that everyone goes full-on accusatory on everyone immediately for every littlest thing. If everyone just calmed the fuck down they could actually play them. You don't need to play the game at an 11/10 at all times, just pop it down to a 6/10 and don't yell over each other. I've seen a decent amount of these games on other streams and youtube, and most people don't seem to be as paranoid and try hard as you guys. Just relax and have fun with it.
