If Guyton and Beebe becomes what we all think they can become this particular version of the Cowboys are poised to be special. I do think more work needs to be done on the dline though, and in particular at the DT position because run stopping has been an Achilles Tendon for several years now. Get a fatguy DT and let Big Z get this defense working. GO COWBOYS!!!!!
Do you think Mazi Smith will improve this year? He was suppose to be our #1 run stopper last year as a #1 pick.

@@markreza8160 Mazi Smith was a 1st round pick for us last year. He wasn't very impactful last year for whatever reason. A 1st round pick needs to hit the ground running and not be someone that needs development. Mazi needs to step up and be a 1st round pick, or step off and let someone else do the job.
He’s gaining weight back which hopefully will help. Plus dts take longer to develop than most positions
@@SlippyFlicks whoever thought it was a good idea for him to drop 40lbs should quit being involved in football. It usually takes about 3 years for a DT to get to be great, but a 1st round pick is still a 1st round pick and that guy has to come in and contribute right away. 1st round picks can't wait. Smith doesn't have to be an Allstar player right away, but he's got to do more than what we got last year. This year he's going to have to step up.

I don't know about anyone else, but I'm really hopeful and hyped for this upcoming season. There are a lot of question marks and even more potential for this team to surprise a lot of people.

Let’s not forget John Steven’s too, season ending injury same game as Overshown. He was on pace to be TE2 over the 2nd round rookie who got hurt during training camp.
Man.. I hope 35 can be an asset for the defense as well. Watched some film last night, and he seems to do more "grabbing" when he tackles, than "hitting." Is that something anyone else observed? Or was it just me? Of course he did make plays. But I wanted to see how physical he is on impact.

Liufau needs to add a little bulk to his upper body if he wants to make the 1st team.
This draft class wasn't flashy, but I think that it was an above average draft class. I look for this team to fill some of their holes. Flashy isn't always good. Sometimes you need thoplayers. box carrying type players. Them blue collar players who aren't afraid to get down and dirty. I'm looking forward to see what we look like. I take the unpopular opinion ion that this team is gonna be better by mid-season (once we address the RB position in a trade.)

Just one time I would like for you to say what you really think. Every time you talk about the boys everyone is great everyone is special. I get the rookies we can't tell what's going on right now it's just but every year the winter season after the season we should have a great outlook on the team that's not doing anything
