Beasley is cap at its finest! Real Sikh and Lu Castro's most viewed battles are vs A Ward meanwhile A Ward had battles with more views vs other Non-URL battlers. Drugz and Jey the Nightwing never ascended to anywhere near A Ward's level and Viewership. Eazy the only valid name Beasley named but he's literally doing now what Ward did from day 1 (making his name bigger without the machine).
My opinion, a star cannot be made, you either are or youre not. Its all about discovery. But to try and take credit for a natural ability that gained a spotlight is wild.
Smack can feel unappreciated but there are real fans that support URL and there have been times they haven’t dropped battles on the app and we were paying, they keep letting battlers who were choking compete, and despite fans demanding certain matches they never made the match happen until 5 years after when the interest is no longer there. This is all before and after the caffeine era.
The brilliant thing is is that, if you assert you create stars in a subculture that is supposed to have a winner and loser, you are admitting that wins and losses do not matter on your platform. So we come full circle. All that talk about if it ain't url it doesn't matter when in fact, if it happens on URL it does not matter because win or lose, the person they want to push will get ahead. And of course it doesn't matter because no one will see it cuz no one has the app but that's another discussion
You can't create stars unless they are getting ghost writers and ish for cats. It's like they forget the battler still has to go and battle. Or if we're talking about the url platform, the battler still needs to go up and choke
If no one has the app, they app would have been gone. Why should wins or losses matter? No matter how great you are, you can still lose. Plus you can’t determine a winner off one watch. We all watched battles for a second, third or fourth time and caught more things in that watch than the first watch. They also have the right to feel like it don’t count if it ain’t on URL. Eazy already had star potential A Ward already had star potential Hitman , Verb , Geechi , Nitty , Lux , Mook , Hollow , Ars , Rex , ILL and ILL Will already had star potential . the only stars URL made imo is Roc and Surf . keyword is STARS . maybe there are more that I’m just not thinking of
