I've been a few times and the first time it was one of the things that surprised me the most, besides the lush green color and the perfect manicuring. You never forget your first view of this golf course.
Great to see all the greats at the masters champions dinner, player, nicklaus, Watson, and of course lan woosnam free feed and a free bar, good on yer woosie, get the ale in to yer
Well good luck to anyone who’s invited to Augusta National for the Masters. If you can play there, you can play anywhere. And if you can’t play there, welcome to the club.
Tickets are $115 for tournament days, $75 for practice rounds. Parking is free. You're there all day and I got 2 BBQ sandwiches and 2 drinks for $6. It's really not that expensive. The members are rich elites though
He’s completely full of shit with the eighteen 3 putts comment. Sure, if you put every ball 70 feet away, then I could maybe see it, but the greens aren’t completely unplayable. From certain spots, it’s next to impossible to get the ball close due to the slopes, but there are plenty of just straight putts at Augusta too.
@@samualalbatross4817 Care to elaborate? That’s just a stupid statement that he made. He said if you just put the ball on the green in a “certain place” (he didn’t say where) the BEST a 9 handicapper would do is 18 three putts. Gimme a break. That “certain place” might be 15 feet away uphill right to left. That would be a guaranteed 2 putt. Or maybe the “certain place” might be 60 feet away on #5. That would probably be a guaranteed 4 putt. But like I said, there are plenty of straight putts at Augusta. If he wanted you to putt 36 or more times then he would simply make you putt from impossible spots on every hole.
And Blacks weren’t invited until 1975. In 2022 I counted 0 in the galleries. It looks like you have to meet plenty of criteria just get in to be a spectator.
its not old people not keeping up. its keeping the game of golf pure without phones and shutters going off. also not to hear "get in the hole" on a par 5 tee shot
Cool piece here i did not realize the elevation differences

Rich elites…but still fun tourney to watch.

winners don't join the club. Nick Faldo can't even get a round without a member
No Masters winner can play the course without a real member.
@@golfhound yes we know thank you
@@golfhound were aware
I'm pretty sure the championship winner DOES NOT become a member of the club....anyone else want to back me up or correct me on this?
Dan Carter was not touched in the making of this clip, otherwise a red card would have protected him
One day I'll go to champions dinner
NO CELL PHONES is wonderful
For the rich only...I need a tank of gas and eggs.

looks like a hard course to walk
When you win the Masters you do NOT join their club ... you get to wear the jacket WHEN YOU ARE A GUEST at their club.
you are a honorary member
Nicklaus and palmer became members late in life
Nick Faldo has won it 3 times and can’t play there until masters week
Masters winners are lifetime honorary members. They can play Augusta whenever it's open, but must play with a real member.
I’d take the Pepsi challenge with the “18 3 putt claim” from The Black Knight.
That really would be fun especially if you back yourself as a solid putter!👍🏻✌🏻
I'd like to try it too but I think he's probably right. Those greens are TOUGH.
Sad news, can't play without phone
haha. "The rough". Never call the rough, 'the rough' and never call the fans 'fans'. First cut and patrons only

Using spursy kit at Augusta ☠️
Player LOVES TO BLOW HIS OWN HORN. I GET TIRED OF LISTENING TO HIM TELL EVERYONE HOW GREAT HE IS.

@@Whoopdido777 He said for a 9 handicap. And he's right. No chance a 9 handicap is going to regularly 2 putt at Augusta. Not happening.

By the way, I meant to say 54 putts.
not a real major IMO. its an invitational.
Inviting only people who have won other major championships and amateur studs

hahaha thats so dumb. old ass people that cant keep up with the times.

I predict that people will eventually morph a third hand just for holding a cell phone.
I started to believe that after Tom Kite got pissed at a kid’s during a fairway shot a few years ago. Poor kid, but golf is golf.
Anthony Blue hahahahaha this guys is so rattled rn over a 2 year old comment.
Stuck up club and people.
