Explaining hue and value and what it has to do with basic color theory. I also go into what are cool and warm colors on the color wheel and what is tint, shade, and tone.

What you call "tone" is actually the third quality of colour, saturation. Some use the terms brightness or luminosity for what you call value. Thanks. Helpful description of basic theory.

Primary colors are supoosed to be "red, green and blue". I learned it in a scientific book. Why are you saying that primary colors are "red, blue and yellow" ? What is the true?
