- Scandinavian just threw the opponent off-guard putting him in defensive play. Missing the initial pressure flow on opponent by not showing aggressive control in the starting 15 moves....just assured Arjun in every move.

I use to play this back in the 90s. Qd6 was referred to as the Pytel version as there was a game against Fisher in the 50s with this line. Usually c6 is played early.
