Was thinking of upgrading as the older action cams like the early SJ4000 (2014) no EIS FHD 30fps only up to the much improved THIEYE T5e (2018) EIS/LDC 4K30 though excellent is getting dated so hoping this odd company is worth it. The low light videos were always pretty bad but this is excellent compared. Sound is also surprisingly good. 👍 With spare battery, and a charger plus a lavalier mic for an added USD $20 or all up about AUS $180 I'll give it a go. 🤩

Hi, its filmed at a place called Ziwa Bush lodge just outside Nakuru. They have a wonderful site and connected to it is an orphenage where proceeds of the lodge supports its work. Well worth a visit.

I do! I used it in my latest video. My only minor gripe is I can't seem to work out how to connect an external microphone. But I'm sure I will work it out. Check out my starlink video I use the camera for some of the outside shots.

Does ausek 5k have option to enable the time stamp in video? I want to use it as a motorcycle recorder.
Yes is cheap quality is ok but it can not last. I bought 1 on the 2023 July. Now not even July 2024 my ausek camera while loading video and it just stop and not working any more😢😢😢less then a year spoil. Wast my money.

I suspect that the video quality would be on par with a low-end smart phone at best. However it has an impressive array of accessories which could be a valuable addition to my DJI Action 4.
The wide angle certainly makes it an advantage over the lower end smart phones.
How you getting on with the camera then?
planning todo a follow up in April. Got a big trip planned…but so far so good.
