Idk men 😅 I drink minimum 5 liters a day (not just water) and it goes easy up to 8 maybe sometimes more, when I’m in the gym I fill my 0.8l water bottle more than 5 times easy, I mean 5 times is 100% the minimum, so that’s 4l only in the gym (and some of it after maybe) but I drink a lot of milk, energy drinks and water at home aswell, so id say my daily average is like 6-7l, I have no problems with anything, but I piss white and I sweat like craaaaazy, but that’s cause I try to workout very hard aswell and it’s hot here at the moment, I take creatine everyday average 5g a day, people say you drink more because of creatine, but I don’t see what’s bad about drinking so much
Sam, I’ve been training for a year and a half now. I started at 6ft 4 160lbs, after 8 months of bulking I got up to 240lbs. I’m currently 1 month into my cut and down to 230lbs 17% body fat, your videos keep me motivated and help me push myself more every workout.
That’s awesome man! I’m 6 ft 3, was 150 pounds, been trying to bulk for 2 years and I am not doing well, only around 160 😢 I eat myself sick every day, wondering if I have something wrong with my metabolism
@@fkcombustion try eating less times throughout the day and consume higher calorie foods such as fast food or snacks to ensure your in a calorie surplus
@@fkcombustion The chance you have a metabolism issue is wildly low, I think probably you just have a low appetite possibly from undereating and being skinny and I recommend you have a high calorie mass gainer shake at least 1000 calories and 60g protein. That'll make bulking easy for you and also help increase your appetite so you can eat more
Started my first cut in early June this year(Met you at the event in Raleigh, one of the hundreds of handshakes lol), kept consistent with the handy dandy Stupid Simple Macro Tracker all the way up to now, and beyond. Lost 35lb so far and hope to drop another 10-20 before doing my first real bulk. I really owe it all to you for the inspiration to set about this course. Love what you do bro. ❤
Hi Sam - thanks so much for the videos + thanks for being you. I really appreciate your perspective + approach. Your inspirational! I started watching your vids around October last year. Not every day, but most. I was doing calisthenic training for about 4.5 years prior to Feb 2024. When I first started watching your videos I immediately learnt a lot about training. Food, rep schemes, splits and so on. Things id never considering before. Since starting weight based training at the gym in Feb, I’ve gained about 1.15kg per month. Body fat % around 15. Cardio every day, training every day, macro tracking + sleeping like snorlax. I’m getting real big. Gonna get get bigger. Appreciate you - thanks for being my gym bro - all my best
because of you sam I finally got my ass up and have been going to the gym for a little over a month! Thank you for these daily videos really helps push me in the gym!
Sam you are an inspiration to me. I had an aortic Disection resulting in open heart surgery back in September (new mechanical valve, bypasses, the works). I lost 100 pounds in that time. in December I started hitting the gym. I went every day increasing intensity as time went on. Unfortunately I had another aortic dissection resulting in another open heart surgery end of April. However, due to going to the gym prior my recovery has been miles ahead this time around. I've worked up to a 6 day cycle at the gym and watch you and take your advice regularly. Obviously I have a lot of limitations with what I can do for movements and also with my diet but the basics are there. I go hard to the point where I get dizzy and can't move whatever I'm working on. I am getting noticable gains again which is awsome after I missed 8 weeks from the gym. However, prior to all this I didn't hit the gym since 2001 when I was in the USMC. A question I have for you is what can I do as an alternative to sodium? I have to keep my sodium intake low but that results in other issues at the gym. I already take a lot of potassium and drink a gallon or 2 of water a day. Keep inspiring brother, love your content.
got my friend into the gym the other day, and last night was his first session, thanks to you Sam i was able to help him get the right form and explain to him how things work, im aiming to become a personal trainer and im sure i can do it because you
You’re the only thing that can motivate me to get in the gym these days. No longer thinking what should I do at the gym today. I just let you do the thinking.
Heading into the gym now. Thanks for the daily videos. Been here for 2 months. Working out 5 days a week for around 6 months. These two months I’ve noticed a definite difference. I don’t see myself stopping anytime soon. I also turned 30 today so I’m late to the game.
For anyone who's tall (I'm 6'2) and struggling with back squats, use a squat ramp. They are amazing. Doing back squats with proper form is so much harder than without (like all of lifting, I guess). Before I could never keep a straight back and get a full ROM, but now I can. Amazing.
Legs for me tomorrow! Although I hiked Pyramid Peak near Aspen, Colorado two days ago with 8.5 miles and over 4,000 feet of elevation gain! Nothing like hiking for a bonus cardio and leg day. Love the videos and it always gets my hyped!!
@@grounddog4life665 Yeah we have some beautiful mountains out here. If you are interested in hiking/Backpacking check out my channel. I make long form videos of my trips and they are tons of fun! Plus amazing cardio always.

Sam, Ima, keep it 100 percent with you. I was gonna skip legs today until I saw your video appear on my notifications. So I would like to say thank you very much brotha✌️
I’ve been bulking for a few months now, I went from 184 fairly lean (visible abs, some chest and delt stations) to 195 near peak bulk bfp (slight visible abs when flexed, still bicep veins, but definitely a lot more fat on my frame), I’m gonna try and maintain this weight for like 1 more months, try and replace some of that fat with muscle, then bulk up to 215. Then I’ll stay there for a month, and finally cut down
I purchased a squat/dip waist belt along with 2 plyo boxes. I do squats from the cable that way, totally bypassing a barbell load on the spine and shoulders and directly targeting the legs from waist down, especially the quads. Love it.❤
I did my leg extensions like you do Sam for the first time 5 left 5 right so on till failure I went to like 25 reps because the weight was a little too light. And like 10 or 15 minutes later I threw up. I guess that set was a lot more intense than I’m used to. Typically I don’t train to failure. And have more of a focus on the compound lifts. Which are less fatiguing cardio wise. My dad tells me the strongest people never miss reps. But on accessories I will probably train more like to failure. What do you think?

If those were on Sam when posting for leg day, their men’s underwear would be sold out!
