It instantly dazzles enemies and causes them to drop their weapons, and you can spam it, making it extremely useful for aggressive attacks. I hardly ever unequip mine.

    The thing that makes shield surfing on a rocket good isn't using it from the ground. Launch yourself into the air some other way first, and then start shield surfing while already in the air. It launches Link crazy far, and by putting the shield away *before* the rocket expires resets its duration. So yu can then start a shield surf again with a "fresh" rocket, and do this endlessly to legit just make Link "fly" anywhere. Like from ground level all the way to the water temple for an example.

      Really there are several ways to get elemental damage. I made a list the other day: fruit, dragon parts, likelike stones, lizal parts, chuchu jelly, keese parts, gems & gleeok parts. I was wondering when to use which...I think fruit & jelly should be for arrows as they break upon contact. So should keese parts as they give 2 for 1 abilities to your arrows. Dragon & gleeok parts are better for weapons bcuz of long lasting they are. Plus theyre the hardest to obtain & have the biggest fuse values. Lizal parts & likelike stones can be used either way. Gems are tricky bcuz they actually make magic rods...yu could launch them as arrows, but they have a wide radius & you could caught in that. You can ensure youre safe tho by sending them far or using upgraded armor

    • @krishnamckay3247
      @krishnamckay3247 Год назад

      I find myself not really using that strategy as I like having the armor. It really comes in handy. Plus there's also having the right weapon, which makes it easier to take on enemies in that region, especially in the case of cold ones. This reminds me of how I was wondering if I should sell the ember & frostbite sets...they dont seem to be worth it. Oh but I just remembered, it would be nice to be able to wear my fierce deity or zonaite armor (some of my faves) in cold & hot places

    Sadly, a wheel fuses onto a shield in the wrong orientation - it does use up battery for guarding so I think it does *something*, but if you try and shield-surf Link will just fall on his face. I think a Homing Cart does work and will indeed effectively shield-surf as long as you have battery.
    A Hylian Mushroom is a one-use version of the Spring - if an enemy hits it, they go flying, but only once.

    Fusing a Stone Slab to a Shield is very handy for negating Fire Attacks. There's even a Shrine that demonstrates this in the Eldin Region.
    You can also use Planks of Wood, Ice Slabs, or Barricades from Enemy Hideouts to Negate Certain types of damage entirely, and they raise Defensive Power quite a bit. Idk about Durability though, and they're not all great for Shield Surfing. I like using a Cart or Sled for that.

    After defeating the single Yiga member w/ the red symbols, look around their camp for where Zonai parts are (I always find at least 2 metal spikes in each camp)........ Sometimes the spikes are a bit hidden so use Ultrahand to locate them.

    oh, second and third piece of advice- broken armor from enemies or spiked metal plates will damage enemies that attack you when fused to your shield, even if you just block and don’t parry. this makes farming the keese swarms that appear at night or that bust out of caves really easy: just put up your shield and wit for them to rush you at night, or just hold up your shield when entering a cave and if the keese come rushing out, all the ones that come in contact with your shield will poof, and you can gather up those much needed eyes and wings! easy peasy!
    finally, try sky diving at night. it seems programmed into the game to make it more likely for a shooting star to fall next to you while diving, allowing you to catch them in the air. this has happened to me around half a dozen times now, and there are many vids of it happening, so it’s definitely not a fluke. definitely try this if you really need some falling star fragments.
