Thank you. I don’t like the wheels too much either. I’m swapping them out. Some people like the ones on the ultimate because the overlayed piece is also black, but it’s the exact same wheel.
I love my 2024 Denali 2500HD gas motor. Recently got 17.1 mixed driving . They kicked ass with this truck. Very few annoying things like lack of powered tilt and cheap floor mats. Otherwise I love it
I agree. Regarding the floor mats, I used the My GMC points from the purchase to get the all weather mats. So they came out to $45 and look MUCH better than the carpet stock mats.
Yeah, it’s just a personal preference. Honestly don’t mind some chrome…but ever since I started blacking my trucks out, it’s just become a look I like overall. The black does have a huge drawback in regards to cleanliness. If you have any type of wheel offset, it gets dirty in a heartbeat.
There definitely nothing wrong with chrome. It’s just a preference for me having it all blacked out. I personally wish GM would have done full Vader chrome on the ultimate.
Not sure how traffic is around you, but in Miami we have tons of traffic. I get (on a 50 mile average) 11-12 mpg in the city and 22-24 highway. I will admit that this is less than what I was getting on my 22’ AT4. So when I lift the Denali I’m assuming I will be doing a bit less than my current average.
I agree with you. I think the interior especially was better thought out in the high country. I mainly chose the GMC because it was my first truck, an 88’. So it’s more of a nostalgic thing for me. But, the High Country is definitely a sweet truck!
It does take some modification to really stand out. The Denali takes on a completely different look when the hard plastics are all color matched. Also changing out the amber lighting all around gives it a different look. It does kind of suck knowing you have to spend some extra money to do things that I feel should be standard options, but I take it as just part of being a truck enthusiast. If something isn’t exactly how you want it, you can always modify. Hurts the pocket though. Lol
just brought my white one home a few days ago. agree with all your thought. I will add.. the sound system is just average, My out going dodge sound system was much better.
I have the Chevy version of this truck. New 2024. It was a mess and needed a software update due to limp mode issues X2. Was resolved with a software update (hopefully). That interior layout not good in that one to what I have. Love the truck and abandoned the F250 in the process (recalls were many). This is a much better truck even with the initial issues so far. Ford is crap. UAW is crap! These unions need to be absolved in the auto industry. Unions are democrat crap that creates crap outcomes.....at higher cost to all of us!!!!!!!
I had a software update issue with mine also. It was an automatic update which I couldn’t override and it drained both my batteries. It was an easy fix at the dealer, but was such a pain. Not gonna lie, I do like the Chevy interior layout a bit better… but I do love this truck. These truck prices are getting ridiculous!
I have always just liked GMC overall. My first truck was a 1988 sierra 1500. I still think that was my favorite truck of all I’ve had. Regret selling it.
Absolutely gorgeous truck I’m on the fence with those wheels

@@DDeepDDrip Thanks I will check them out.
Have a black High Country and don't mind chrome.....am burned out on all black...
Only thing is door handles show every lil fingerprint
Yep, too many black out editions - from all makes. Like black blobs rolling down the road.

Can’t wait to see it with the mods you want to do
Mods coming soon! Starting to order parts. I’ll post an update one I get started.
I love crome on the truck . In fact if I get my truck I will put more crome on sides and on .
There definitely nothing wrong with chrome. It’s just a preference for me having it all blacked out. I personally wish GM would have done full Vader chrome on the ultimate.

Great looking rig!

why can't anyone make a truck now that looks like a truck ?
i bought a '24 3500 silverdo high country duramax over this, just had better lay out

The Denali looks equivalent to a Ford Lariat. Doesn’t really stand out like I’d like

Agree with you on the sounds system. I’m upgrading mine to ProAudio all around and dual subs for a little more kick. Congrats on your new truck!
Можно громче музыку,а то совсем не слышно

Older ones are better
