    For the people asking, the wind instruments are called a mizmar in Egypt. In Europe the same instrument is a shawm.

    Every ancient Egyptian vid has an arguement about "race"..*sigh*. In ancient times it was more about culture than skin color. They often mixed. The Nubians even took over Egypt for a time...Is it so hard to believe they came in all shades? The point isn't what "race" they were when they lived, but that they lived.

    I actually do know Coptic, but I didnt have a chance to know it well, and what I knew I almost forgot, as an Egyptian there's a not small chance I know about coptic...but for a ex-Muslim Arabian like u, its really strange and unique that u do, Good job! ;)

    I do know and yes we can, you're seriously underestimating the scientific prowess of our age, it unprecedented in the history of the world. When we discover that the ancient Egyptians could launch satellites that can discover the secrets of galaxies light years away from our own earth then you can say they were on the same wavelength as us.
    The question was whether we can preserve bodies and the answer is YES, we can preserve them much longer and in much better conditions today.

    Not as you know but based on your remarks about Egypt and Egyptian people your knowledge of Egypt seems rather limited, I'm from a rural village in Lower Egypt and we play all the instruments used in Upper Egypt, everything from the rababa to the mizmar, this is rural Egyptian music played from Aswan to Ashmun.

    I'm not talking about a Pre-Pharaonic era, but in general. I did not say Egyptians were completely erased from the face of the earth but rather they were greatly outnumbered by the aforementioned peoples and/or driven out of the land but there is still true Egyptians living there . As well, I'm sure many intermarried with these other races and that's how you find them through DNA though I'm not completely convinced.

  • @Zechariah46
    @Zechariah46 12 лет назад

    I think you're right! Black looking people were the first inhabitants of this great land and I'm not black but from my own research has led me to believe this. The second peoples to populate Egypt were the Semites(Jews, Arabs..etc..) then the Greeks and Romans and others which is what you see when you look at the inhabitants of that land but mostly Arabs.

  • @bladdan

  • @Vulkaye
    @Vulkaye 11 лет назад

    The difference is that I really don't doubt your Egyptianess. I think all Egyptians are Egyptian, from Dumiat to Aswan, from the fellahin to the Nubians, whether they are Christians or whether they are Muslims. I believe all Egyptians have an inherent right to live in the land of their ancestors, Pharaoh Mina united Upper and Lower Egypt 5000 years ago and it has remained an undivided entity for all these years despite the countless occupations we've endured.

    Egypt during the Fatimid Caliphate was the uncontested superpower of our planet, it spanned from Turkey to Morocco, going even as far as Sicily. The sciences, art, economy, military all flourished during this period.
    What are you talking about, that is the very definition of Stockholm syndrome. The Romans persecuted Coptic Christians and all Eastern Christians, they extracted an even higher tax on Miaphysites and Egyptian polytheists than the Muslims did. And I'm an atheist btw, not Muslim.

    Yes and the Boer people are South Africans of European descent, hence them speaking a European language. English is not the main language of South Africa, each region in South Africa has a dominant language, English is dominant in Johannesburg whereas Afrikaans is dominant in Cape Town.
    I speak Bohairic Coptic natively, it was passed down to me from my parents and my grandfather and they are all Muslims. My village (Mit Dafir) is bilingual and has both Christians and Muslims speaking Coptic.

  • @MsKillerBill

  • @Vulkaye
    @Vulkaye 11 лет назад

    Do you even read what I say? The Coptic Christians were not persecuted until the Edict of Thessalonica in 380AD, the pagans of Egypt were severely persecuted however after the Edict of Milan in 313AD which 67 years before the Edict of Thessalonica that also banned all forms of Christianity that deviated from Roman Christianity.
    What you're saying is nothing but baseless assumptions, the general consensus among historians is that Roman society shortly after Constantine was very devout.

    If you look at history you`ll realize that Semites (Jews, Arabs etc, began to migrate to this region in great numbers. The Akkadians as well as many other Middle Eastern peoples constantly attacked Egypt, again this is all from research, I wasn`t there personally and neither were you so we really don`t know exactly what happened, and like I said, it doesn`t really matter to me what happened to the original Egyptians, I`m not going to argue or kill someone over it it`s simply interesting to me.

  • @Vulkaye

    You guys do realize upper "Egypt " was south right? Where Sudan is OK? The culture originated in the napata valley mmmmmkay? Today as in ancient times there is mostly dark skinned blacks in these areas. The Persians and Hyksos who were pale invaded lower Egypt and adopted Nubian culture). The older Nubian dynasties of Egypt the original families and their history and monuments are being covered by water thanks to deliberate efforts to hide historical facts. Most of you need to research.

    @Vulkaye 11 лет назад

    Read up on the Muslim invasion of Egypt, Amr Ibn El Aas was accompanied by 4000 soldiers. Do you think that's enough to replace the Egyptian population? These soldiers didn't settle in Egypt either, they continued to conquer the rest of North Africa. Again, Egypt was at the peak of its power during the Fatimid Era and Mamluk period. Coptic Egypt was equally subjugated by foreigners and it was never independent, both Christianity and Islam are foreign to Egypt.

  • @Panda-xd2ub
    @Panda-xd2ub 11 лет назад

    Limited?? Rofl I'm Egyptian, sir!! Plus..I have never heard that music from lower Egyptians, specially cuz I believe they are not pure Egyptians, just come from the Arabian roots that has come to Egypt, cuz Upper Egypt is a principle and important location of True Egyptians, like in some old places in Cairo, but ppl frok lower Egypt, I dont even think they have the intelligence that make'em true Egyptians, thus nothing make'em play this Ancient music (in case it is)

  • @Panda-xd2ub
    @Panda-xd2ub 11 лет назад

    Btw U have Arabian culture cuz I believe ur Arabian.
    Second..About Ancient Egyptian's science...Can we nowdays mummify dead bodies for thousands of years as pharaohs did? Do we have the same knowledge about Space as Pharaohs had? Sure we have, but still we dk some of what they knew!! can we now build such monuments using the science and the knowledge that make'em stay for that enormous number of years without harm as they did? Do u know that they made artificial organs? Then they did know better

    You can make any erroneous claim you want and then back it up by saying "I learned it at school", that's not a credible source. If it's true then your school must have gotten that information from somewhere and therefore you will have no trouble finding a source to present here.
    Clearly tolerance and open-mindedness is not one of those "high level" things. An atheist wouldn't be offended by someone discrediting a religion because it's perceived as nothing but mythology.
